"Bye, You guys." Boruto said to his parents as they hugged their kids goodbye. Him and his sister had just loaded their suitcases into his truck, and were about to leave to the Uchiha's, and get Sarada, before heading back to school.
"Bye, son." Naruto said while ruffling his son's hair. "Remember to be respectful, and call us every night. Be safe you two." Himawari and her brother nodded, and smiled at their mother, "Of course."
"Okay, we love the both you." Hinata mom said while hugging them one last time.
"We love you guys too."In less than ten minutes they were at Sarada's, going through the same routine. Boruto watched her walk from behind her front door, with the suitcases she had brought, and he couldn't stop the butterflies in his stomach as she walked toward his car with a bright smile. "Hi, Bolt." She said with a smile as he stood in front of her about to take her suitcase for her. "Morning, Sarada." He said while smiling at her. "Hey, Hima." She said with an even brighter smile, before hugging her, while Bolt loaded her things into his truck.
Her parents said goodbye to their daughter at the front door, and he watched her hug them from his truck. He would've said goodbye, but he hadn't seen Sasuke since Christmas Day, when he kissed his daughter right in front ofSakura waved at them from the front door while saying, "Drive safe!" Boruto flashed her his handsome smile, "Of course!"
"Thanks again, Bolt." Sarada said while sitting in the passenger seat, as Hima sat in the back with her feat propped up. "You're welcome. Now, are you guys hungry?"
"I'm fine." They both said, and he nodded. "Okay, well we have an hour drive, so let me know if you need anything."
"Sarada, have you seen Haron's new girlfriend?" Hima said, while showing her some picture on her phone. Sarada glanced at it, "Well that's good for him." Hima just shook her head, "He sure doesn't waste any time." Boruto glanced at Sarada's reaction less face."Sure doesn't." He said, "He was actually at the movies the other night when we went, I don't think he saw us, but we saw him. He doesn't look too good honestly."
"Well I hope he's in a better place now."
She said nonchalantly. Hima nodded, "Wow you're such a nice ex." Sarada laughed,
"Is there a reason to be bitter?" Hima shrugged, "I guess I not. You must really be over him."
"Oh definitely." Himawari nodded while smiling at her friend, "Well it's his loss. The next guy that gets you is a lucky man."
"Definitely." Bolt said, making Sarada blush and Hima give home a questioning look."Well thanks you two." She said,
before putting her hand on Boruto's thigh.
"Anyways, are you two ready for school Tuesday?" Sarada asked, "Of course not."
"Yeah, me too. The break went by too fast." Bolt and Sarada nodded in agreement.
"It's fine, Hima. My break was still great."
"Mine was too, Bolt." They drove in a comfortable silence after the conversation died out, while driving through the town they had grown up in. His eyes watched the scenery closely, noticing nothing had changed, at all.
"It's so weird being back here. I know it's only been like four months, but it's so weird that everything has managed to stay the same over the years." Bolt said softly, speaking exactly what Sarada was thinking as she gazed out the window. She nodded in agreement, "Right? Nothing's changed in this small town." He nodded, before interlocking their fingers, and bringing her hand to his soft lips. She smiled slightly, as they seemed to forget about the sleeping Himawari in the backseat.
"You know we graduate in five months."
He nodded, "Oh I know. I hate to say it, but I'm gonna miss this." She nodded in agreement, "Me too. I'm gonna miss being so close to all of my friends, and family." A blush came to her cheeks as she added, "And you, of course."
He blushed while rolling his eyes, "I know you will, you'll go off to some smart college and meet some really smart guy, and I'll just be somewhere playing football." He said with an expression she couldn't pinpoint."And I'll be in the stands cheering for you with a big sign, and your high school jacket on, while you're somewhere playing football."
He smiled, before glancing over his shoulder, and pouting his plump lips slightly. "What?"
She asked, he leaned over and whispered,
"I really wanna kiss you, right now, but Hima." Sarada giggled, "Well I guess it'll have to wait."
He sighed while pouting, "I guess so."

"Guys, Cho and I were thinking that we should just go to school tomorrow, and hit the hot springs tonight." Hima said as they sat in a restaurant, enjoying their dinner. "That sounds fun, but we told our parents we were going straight to school." Sarada said, but they all shrugged. "What our parents don't know, won't hurt them." Bolt said from across the table, "Yeah, besides it's just the hot springs, and we'll be at school on time." She looked at Bolt, "Are you up for the drive? It's another hour away, and it's already getting dark."
He nodded, "I've driven in the dark before, Sarada." He said making everyone else laugh.
"Alright. If Shika, and Mitsuki are up for the drive, then I think it's a good idea."
