"Hey, Mom." Sarada said to her mother as she sweetly kissed her cheek, before hugging her daughter tightly. "Sarada, I've missed you so much sweetie."

As she hugged her mother, her father patiently waited for his daughter to also greet him with one. "Hi, Papa." Sarada said with a smile, making him smile, before hugging her.

"Hey, sweetheart, how are you?" He asked her while patting her back, "Good, how are you? How's work?"

She asked while they sat down at their booth. "Good, and just as hectic as ever."
"I'd bet. I'm surprised you guys even have the time to go to the ceremony tomorrow."

Sakura smiled while shaking her head, "We wouldn't miss it. Especially since you're hosting."

Sarada laughed, "It's nothing, really all I'm doing is reading off of a notecard. If anything you both should be practicing your speeches." They both laughed a little as they looked over their lunch menus. "Are we getting that many awards? It's not like we did much in high school."
"Well mom did." She said making her blush. "She's definitely where you get your academic success from." He said, "Psh, are we forgetting that you had to tutor me?" Sarada's eyes widened in disbelief. "No way." She knew her father was smart, but her mother was always the person who she went to for homework help, not to mention how she graduated from med school at the top of her class.

He laughed a little, "Wow, I forgot about that. I doubt you actually needed my help though, you just thought I was cute." She laughed a little while looking at her husband, "Not true! You know you made the first move." She said while rolling her emerald eyes.
"Do tell." Sarada said while leaning forward and letting her head rest in the palms of her hands. Sakura smiled, "So sweetie, it was at Naruto's party after a football game, right?" Sasuke nodded with a slight smile on his face.
It brought joy to Sarada to see her parents so cute. They both had smiles on their faces, and they're interlocked hands sat on the restaurant table, as they told the story of how they fell for each other.

"So yeah, after the game my friends and I decided to go to the after party at Naruto's. He had invited Hinata, and since she didn't know many people, we all decided to go with her because trust and believe I didn't want to go." Sasuke father scoffed, "Oh please." She glanced at him, before continuing the story. "Anyway, when we got to the party we had a few too many drinks, and your father got jealous over some guy who was talking about me in a way he deemed inappropriate, and punched him right in the face, starting a fight." Sarada's eyebrows raised in surprise as she glanced at her dad to see him nodding in agreement while laughing a little, "Anyways, I got Naruto to break up the fight."

Sasuke interrupted, "It wasn't a fight, I hit him once and he fell." She rolled her eyes while Sarada laughed, "I guess he thought that he would get some kind of praise since he was fighting for my honor, but no, I was annoyed." She said while glancing at her husband lovingly, as he did the same to her.
"So instead of helping your dad out, I helped the other guy out, just to be petty. And like I had expected, he got even more jealous."
Sarada smiled as she saw how excited Sakura got while telling the story, "After that, the party ended and since the girls and I were all intoxicated, we stayed the night at Naruto's."

Sarada's eyebrows rose, "His parents allowed that?" Sasuke shook his head immediately. "Oh no, Kushina would've killed him if she found out." Then Sakura said, "But we weren't gonna drive drunk, we were young and dumb, but not that dumb." Sarada laughed before she continued the story, "Hinata and I were about to fall asleep, when your father came knocking on the door asking for me, and after I finally got up, we both went to his room and talked about our feelings for each other." She watched as her dad brought his wives hand to his lips and kissed it. "I guess the rest is history."
Sarada smiled, "So you guys just started off as close friends?" They nodded, "Yeah, then it kinda just happened. I had always kind of had a crush on him." Sarada nodded, "That's really cute. You guys never really talk about your high school years."
