"Let me get that for you." Boruto said while reaching for Sarada's big suitcase. "Thank you."
She said with a light blush on her cheeks. They were finally on their break, and he kindly offered to drive her home after finding out that her and her boyfriend were, "Taking a break." Haron was originally going to take her home since she left her car back home, and Boruto practically jumped at the chance. Though it was a mere few blocks away from his home, she thought it was sweet. As soon as she stepped onto the, 'Welcome', mat of her porch, the door swung open, and her mother welcomed her with open arms, and her infectious bright smile. "Sarada!" She said before pulling her daughter into a much-needed hug. "Mom." She said with a bright smile while hugging her.
A smile came to Boruto's face as he watched the wholesome interaction. "You've gotten so thin! Come, I have to make you some food. I'm afraid you'll blow away in the wind."Sarada laughed a little, and so did Boruto. "And you, young man. How are you?" She asked while hugging Bolt. He smiled with a slight blush across his cheeks, "I'm good, how are you?" She smiled, "Great now that you guys are here. Thanks again for driving Sarada." He looked at Sarada and smiled brightly,
"It's my pleasure."
"Here, come in you two. It was a long drive, do you guys want a snack?" Sarada shook her head,
"I'm fine. Is Dad home?" She nodded with a smile,
"He's in his study.""Do you want anything, Boruto?"
"I'm fine, I should be heading home. Thanks though."
"Bye Bolt, I'll see you later." He smiled, and nodded. Sakura said good-bye to him, as Sarada walked down the hall to greet her father. Though she had missed her mother deeply, and her delicious cooking just as much, she had definitely missed her father more.
Nothing beat the feeling of security and safety that he always gave her, with just a mere hug. Knocking twice on the door, she waited for him to respond before opening it. "Come in."
"Hi, Papa." She said, and he smiled before standing up, and walking toward her. "Ah, Sarada."Her eyes began to water as he hugged her, feeling overwhelmed."I-I missed you so much." He just stroked her hair, while holding onto her.
"I've missed you too, my little angel." As he spoke that, he suddenly felt her tears against his shirt.
"Is everything okay?" He asked, making her nod against his broad chest. "Really?" He asked again, this time, looking into her eyes, that looked almost identical to his. The only thing that would give her away was the red bruising, and small scar to her nose, that she had covered well with concealer. They both knew that she sucked at lying to him, and truthfully she wanted to tell him everything that she had been through in the last few weeks, only she knew she couldn't.
She didn't want anyone to get hurt, especially not after everything she had been through, and she knew how her father was. They heard the floor creak as Sakura stood at the doorway of the room, worry clear in her emerald eyes and her hand on her hip. "Sarada?" She asked, and Sarada laughed to keep from coming clean."I'm fine. I've just missed you guys so much!" Sakura smiled before saying, "We've missed you too, Sarada." Her father seemed less convinced, but he didn't press the issue. "Dinner should be ready in an hour, go get some rest, and freshen up, okay?" Sarada nodded, "Okay." She smiled, as she walked past her parents, and up the wooden stairs.

"I don't know, Cho. I think I'm just gonna stay in tonight." She sighed, "Fine, Sarada. How about tomorrow? I have some last minute shopping to do."
"Sure. Sorry again." She laughed slightly,
"It's fine, spend time with your parents. I'll see you tomorrow. Night."
"Night, Cho." Sarada said, before hanging up, just in time to hear the dinner bell. As she walked down the stairs, she heard her mother's contagious laugh, while she said, "Sasuke." She was hesitant in turning the corner, to enter their dining room, where three extra plates sat. "Who else is joining us?""Just Izumi, Itachi, and Ichirou."
"No Mika?" Her mother shook her head,
"Her flight got delayed, so she won't be in Konoha for another few hours." Sarada nodded, just as the doorbell rang. "I'll get it." She said with a smile, before being met with her uncle and his family.
"Hi, Ojisan." She said as they hugged, before Sarada hugged his wife, and her cousin. "How are you?" Ichirou asked, "I'm great, how are you?" He smiled nicely, "I'm alright, finals nearly killed me."
She laughed a little while nodding in agreement.
