"You know I love you more than anything."
Sarada spoke to Boruto as the tears wouldn't stop sliding down her cheeks. His heart ached for her, as he tried to reach for her face to wipe her tears. With his palm against her soft cheek she smiled slightly, "I'm so sorry."
The fluorescent lights shined brightly, giving him a slight headache as she titled forward, to press her lips against his forehead.
"I regret not telling you how I really felt."
The depiction of her became blurry as he began to lose the feeling of her hand holding him. "J-just stay with me. I won't be able to live without you, Boruto."
"No, Boruto, stay with me." His vision became pitch black, as she heard Sarada's gut-wrenching scream. "Boruto!"
Suddenly, he was in his bedroom again, with his alarm blaring. Sweat drenched his pajama pants as he looked up at his ceiling, with his chest in pain as he panted.
For some reason, he had been having the recurring dream of Sarada standing over him, while he laid in what seemed to be a hospital bed. It was so strange considering it felt so real. As if it had already happened.
Stretching his limbs before getting up, and throwing on sweatpants and a shirt, he tried to shake off the dream he just had. "Hey." He said to ShikaDai as he walked into the communal bathroom, joining him, Jin, Mitsuki.
He just gave his friends a look that said he was too exhausted to have a conversation, before going into one of the stalls. They laughed, and continued to prepare for their day.
"I heard somone has to show, Shinki, and his friends around today." Jin said, "Well I hope I run into him, it's been what? Like a year since we all hung out?" Mitsuki nodded, "Yeah, back when Cho had a crush on him."
"She didn't have a crush on him."
Dai said while washing his hands.
"She did, don't be jealous." Bolt teased as he yawned, "I'm not. I just hope he knows that she's mine."
He laughed before rinsing out his mouth with mouthwash. "I didn't think you cared that much." Mitsuki said, making Dai shrug his shoulders while blushing slightly.
"I don't. I'm just saying."
"Oh okay." Jin said while rolling his eyes. "We'll meet you guys in the cafeteria."
As they walked to their destination, they talked about the dinner that Bolt's family had with the Uchiha's. "Well at least Sasuke feels the same way." He said, in response to Bolt expressing how much he disliked Haron.
"Sasuke doesn't like any guy who talks to his daughter." Jin nodded in agreement, "You're right. Maybe it's a personal issue, Bolt."
"Thanks for being so supportive." He laughed while shrugging, "I mean you're in love with her, you shouldn't like the guy she's in love with."
"She doesn't love him." He stated with a frown on his face. Honestly he wasn't sure how she felt, but it didn't sit right with him how she took him back, and let him meet her parents.
"Well it's still a personal issue, you hate him for literally no other reason." He shrugged, "That's the only reason I need."
"Jin! Bolt! Wait up!" They heard, making them stop abruptly, and turn around to see Hima and Sarada. Sarada looked extremely beautiful as she walked toward them with her long black hair flowing down her back.
Bolt got butterflies as she spoke to him with a bright smile on her face, "Morning, how are you both?"
"It's a Monday." She laughed a little, "Oh you'll be fine."
She sighed, "Yeah I know." She ruffled his hair, "Well Cho and Sumire have to show, Shinki, and the other two musketeers around today."
"Oh really? Shikadai is gonna hate that."
"Right? She had that huge crush on him last year." Sarada said with a laugh leaving her lips.
