"It's officially been a month, how are you feeling, Babe?" Sarada asked Bolt, while helping him get dressed for his physical therapy session. As she helped him into his shirt, then into his arm sling, she noticed how he winced slightly as she tightened the sling. "Sorry." She said, but he smiled before kissing her cheek, "I feel great."
"That's great."
"Let's get lunch after your PT? My treat."
She said while helping him into his jacket.
He winced as he got yet another sharp pain in his shoulder, "Have you taken your medication today?"
"No."

"And why not?"
"I don't need it." She sighed deeply while saying, "Boruto, they're gonna make the pain go away."
"I'm not taking them, Sarada. I'm fine."
He said dismissively. "But you need to take them, or else you're gonna continue to be in pain, and that's not going to make this process any faster." Rolling his blue eyes he asked, "Can you stop nagging me for a short second? Is that too much to ask?"
In response, she rolled her onyx eyes and put her hands on her hips. "Well I'm sorry for wanting to see you healthy, and happy like before-" She couldn't even finish her sentence before Boruto became annoyed.

"Oh my God, Sarada, I've been trying so hard to be that same Boruto you fell in love with, but it's not going to happen! You know why? I almost died. You can't expect me to be the same kid from before. People change. I've matured, and you need to too." She looked into his eyes. She knew that he was hurt, and that this wasn't the time to argue with him.
"Boruto, I don't expect you to change for me.
I love you just the way you are. I'm sorry if it comes off as me trying to change you, but I just want to see you healthy. This past month has taken us through hell and back, and I know you're trying, which I appreciate, I'm trying too. But you do need to take your medication, I know it may make you feel weak, like you, "need", to be fixed, but you just need to be comfortable. Okay?" He nodded, before taking a deep sigh, and taking the water bottle and pills from her hands. "Okay."

After everything they had gone through, Sarada learned how to be more patient with him. She knew that he was going through things, and she wanted to be there for him. Unlike him, she sought counseling and was doing okay since being assaulted, but he refused to see a therapist. Subconsciously he knew he needed one though. Especially since he had began having nightmares of the whole thing. That was another reason he didn't like his medication, it gave him nightmares so bad that he'd wake up drenched in sweat, and a racing heart.

Smiling slightly, she kissed his forehead, "Okay, I'm gonna run downstairs really quick, and then we're off." Nodding at her, she smiled softly before leaving the room. Bolt looked down at the two pills in his hand, and chucked them in his trash-bin as he heard her walk down the stairs. Wincing again, he got up from his bed before looking into the mirror that hung on the back of his door. Examining his lifeless face, he noticed how the bags under his blue eyes had gotten worse, from the sleep he wasn't getting.

Though he never spoke about it, he had been experiencing multiple sleep paralysis, and strange nightmares where Sarada was kneeling over his bleeding body while screaming for him to wake up, the last few weeks.
It was strange, Haron had never put fear in Boruto, but now that he was no longer a threat, Bolt felt as if he was haunting him, and the medication he was supposed to take, only made him more paranoid, though it was supposed to help him.

"Hey, Sarada." Hima said while making herself tea in her kitchen. "Hey, how are you?"
"I'm alright, we haven't hung out in forever, when you're free again let's grab the girls and do something?" Though she knew she didn't have the time, Hima knew she'd make time for them. Her friends missed her terribly, but they knew that she needed time. Sarada's life the last month had been revolving around school, therapy, and Boruto.

"Of course. I'll text you when I'm free."
"You're taking Bolt to PT again?" She nodded, "You're so good to him," Hima said while smiling at her, "How have you been though? How's therapy going?" She smiled,
"Great actually, I can actually sleep through the night again." Hima smiled, "I'm still so sorry you had to go through that." Sarada nodded, "Thanks  Hima, but really I'm okay now." She said truthfully, as she heard Bolt walking down the stairs. "Well that is good. You deserve that at least." She smiled, but they stopped talking as Bolt joined them.
"Well I will see you two later? Drive safe you guys." They nodded, "Bye, Hima."

"How was it?" Sarada asked while Boruto walked out from the physical therapy section of the building. He smiled, "Great. I actually got a new trainer though."
"Oh? Well what's he like?"
"She. Her name is Suki. She reminds me a lot of you to be honest." Sarada smiled, "Oh? She must be a good person then." Laughing a little, he nodded. "Seems like it."
"What are you thinking for lunch?"
She shrugged, "It's up to you. It's my treat, remember?" Thinking for a moment he said, "Ramen?"A smile spread on her lips.
"Okay. Off we go."
