Being Tate's bestfriend/crush

•you guys meet in school. He was a anti social sophomore and you we a freshman with a bad temper. You guys become friends in detention. He got a detention for not showing up to school and you go one for scream at your teacher. Long story short you both hated high school.

•you guys start hanging out cause you both didn't have friends

•hanging out in the library and getting dirty looks from the other students but the librarian wouldn't be upset cause Tate finally had a friend, instead of him sitting by him self reading he was sitting laughing with y/n

•other students making fun of you guys for being the "freaks of the school". But at least you guys had each other.

•finding out that you guys live pretty close to each other

• Tate sleeping over at your house a lot and your parents don't mind because there just happy your have a friend and they know about his rough home life, so he's welcome anytime

•you help with his dark thought

•Constance adores you

•one night you stayed at his house, and you guys climbed to the roof and watched the stars while listening to Nirvana with shared earbuds on his Walkman

• you feel his hand close to yours, and you grated it cause I was dark out and you are scared of the dark and he looked over at you and that's when her realize he had the biggest crush on you

• he would start because very protective over you and watch you to make sure you don't get hurt (not in a creepy way.)

•he would admire the small stuff
*your laugh
* your smile and the way your dimples show
*your eyes and how they sparkle when you look at him

• There would be a lot of flirtatious jokes or sarcastic comments made to gauge your reaction

• this is when he starts to become more physical with you

*Casual arms over the shoulders

*Lying his head in their lap or resting it on their shoulder

*Maybe the occasional hug if he can find an appropriate time for it

* he would hold your hand in public places to help your and his anxiety

•But he would definitely wait for the "right time" before telling the his feelings

*A good year, at the very least. He just doesn't want to lost you, his only friend and secretly the love of his life

•He'd want the moment to be perfect

*Probably like a scene from a movie that you guys would always watch on Fridays

• but before he could plan the perfect thing he accidentally said it

* you guys were having another sleep over, his head was on your lap while you played with his bright blonde curly. Nightmare on Elm street was playing but neither you and tate were watching. You suddenly her Tate mumble,

*"God I love you" " finally, I love you too"
