A.N. I know I used another episode name but I just couldn't help myself...
"Lapis?"
I stared at the blood on the blue haired girl's face, eyes brimming with tears.
I slowly approached the shaking girl, right hand sticking out protectively.
"Who did this to you?"
She looked away, as I knelt down, close to her. I brushed a strand of hair away from her face, carefully, as to not hurt her.
"I-" Lapis choked out, only to have more tears rushing down her face.
"You are seriously hurt, I should take you to the-"
"NO!" She interrupted, voice loud, startling me.
"Well I'm not gonna let you rot here alone!"
I took off my (luckily) oversized jacket, holding it out for her as she slipped into it. I put her undamaged arm over my shoulders and helped her up.
"Do you think you can stand up on your own?"
She shakily let go of my soulders, but managed to keep balance. "I did hurt my ankle, but I think I'll be fine." She stated, trying not to make eye contact.
"Can you walk on your own?" Lapis walked a few steps forward, almost falling, but I managed to catch her. "Okay, maybe you should hold on. There shouldn't be many people at school at this time, so as long as we're dicrete no one should notice."
I opened the bathroom door, as we made our way to the entrance. There were some teachers sitting around talking to each other, so she held my arm, to look less obvious, but the path we took was a bit out of the way, so everything was fine.
I didn't know where Lapis lived, so I asked her, but she lived much farther away from the school than I did, and since I had no money on me what-so-ever, I decided it would be best to take her to my place.
The floor was wet, it was pouring and cold. We made a few stops at bus stations to sit down, and soon enough, we arived at my place.
"I'm gonna need you to let go for a second." I said as Lapis gently slid off of my arm, resting against the wall, as I searched for the house keys in my pockets.
I swung the door open and brought Lapis to the couch. We were both soaked.
"Stay here I'll get the emergency kit and some dry clothes." Lapis nodded and ran upstairs leaving muddy footprints everywhere.
I came back down with some anticeptic, gauze, cotton, pain killers and dry clothes.
Lapis sat up as I uncovered the wound on her arm. I lightly dabbed some anticeptic on her arm, making her flinch.
"Agh!" She squeased her eyes shut, gritting her teeth.
"I know it stings, but I don't want you getting an infection."
I continued to tend her injury, wrapping the gauze around her arm.
"Done. I'm gonna get you a glass of water." I went to the kitchen, and returned to her, giving her some pain killers.
I then guided her to my bathroom, where she chaged into dry clothes, towel wrapped around her hair.
"Thank you, Peri." Lapis said, as we sat on the couch.
"I couldn't let you mop around in the school bathroom floor all hurt!" I insisted.
"You didn't need to take care of my wound you know"
