Many years later

"But father! I simply do not understand why a simple olive branch cannot be used here!"

I argued with my father, the Pharo, as we arrived at Asgard. My father had remained adamant through the years that a marriage between myself and one of the Asgardian Princes was the only way to bring our kingdoms into a strong alliance. It was obvious that he and I didn't exactly see eye to eye on this matter.

"You know as well as I do, Rashida, that our country is not one of simple trust but of great dependence. For a country to become our ally they must be bonded to us like the human leg is to the hip."

My father replied. I rolled my eyes and looked away from him. It had been years since I'd seen either of the Asgardian Royalties and I wasn't exactly on the edge of my seat to see them at this precise moment either.

"Yes but a marriage? Isn't that a bit excessive?"

My father finally stiffened from all of my questions. He gripped his staff tightly and peered down at me.

"Rashida Ra I will not have this from you. Once you are queen you may choose how to find peace in any way you'd like, but until that day you will listen to me as both your father and your king. I am only trying to do what's best for you. This is the-"

"Best course of action. I know. I will listen to you. I am sorry father."

We arrived at the palace, it stood tall and shinned brightly in the Asgardian sunlight. It almost seemed blinding to me. These people really liked showing off, unlike us. We did not shape everything with gold but with stone. Our kingdom was more of the product of natural beauty then one of forced glimmer.

We were escorted to the throne room where Odin sat upon a throne of gold. My father bowed before him and I followed.

"Pharaoh men Ra, it is good to see you once more."

Odin's voice echoed through the bright throne room. My father stood from his bow and met Odin's gaze. I stood behind him, inspecting the Allfather. He did not interest me too much but his two sons standing behind him did. They had grown quite a bit since I last sat them many years ago. The eldest, still smiling at me with a gleeful expression now had many muscles and seems to be quite strong and handsome. His eyes still gleamed with hope and in him I could see a true king. Then my gaze shifted to the younger. He still had his signature raven black hair and luscious green eyes but he was older now and more cunning then before. He made eye contact with me before smirking and I quickly turned my gaze away from him.

"I present to you, Allfather, my daughter Princess Rashida Ra. The future Pharaoh of Misr, Egypt. She is to be, as we agreed, married to one of your sons."

My father addressed and pushed me forwards. He placed his hands on my shoulders and stood next to me as a proud father should. Odin nodded and signaled both of his sons to step forward.

"I present to you both of my sons for your daughter to chose from. Thor, the eldest and future king of Asgard and Loki my youngest."

Thor's valiant smile remained as he lifted my delicate hand and pressed my fingers up to his lips and placed a soft kiss upon my hand.

"Lady Rashida it is my pleasure to be aquatinted with you. And it would be my honor to unite our kingdoms."

I smiled slightly and nodded at the prince who towered over me. He stepped away and his bright aura followed him. Loki, the youngest took my hand next.

"Lady Rashida Ra, it is my honor to offer myself to you to join our kingdoms into one of the most powerful nations of the nine realms."

He said smoothly as he kissed my fingers. He kept his eyes locked on my own as he did so, sending a chill up my spine. Something about him seemed... very possessive and harsh yet mysterious and beautiful.

"Lady Rashida will have three days to pick which prince will unite the kingdoms."
