Loki shifted his body as the blinding light from the outside world flooded in. He groaned and covered his eyes.

"Silence, fool."

A new fresh voice came. It was crisp and refine. A man in white and blue walked over to Loki. Behind him were two guards and another woman also dressed in guard armor but also jewels.

"Who are you?"

Loki asked. The man scoffed and slapped him hard across the cheek. Loki flinched a little in shock but a scowl quickly found its way on his lips.

"It is of no importance to you."

The man turned slightly to the others accompanying him. The woman was dressed in a white tunic decorated with golden armor and red jewels. Her figure seemed almost cat like and her eyes glowed a brilliant orange colour. The man, however had a strong figure. He had black, almost blue appearing, hair that was slicked back. He wore a white loin cloth decorated with lovely shades of blue and a golden breastplate that was donned with blue precious stones. He seemed regal and stoic, like a mighty bird almost.

"Sekhmet, did you gather the supplies?"

The man asked the woman who nodded hesitantly and handed something to the man.

"I do not think the Pharaoh will be okay with this."

The woman, Sekhmet, replied as she eyed Loki suspiciously. The man groaned.

"It is done for her own good. Besides she may not be upon the throne for long."

"Thoth, What do you mean?"

"I mean, she is young and inexperienced. It would not be unlikely for her to hand over the throne to one of us if she is unable to handle it."

Sekhmet's orange eyes widened with intrigue. She drew in a sharp breath and met Thoth's eyes.

"My, wiseman, you do not speak of treason, do you?"

"Of course not, my warrior."

"Because, need I remind you, I am sworn to protect the pharaoh at all costs."

Thoth sighed irritatedly and focused on the items in his hands given to him by Sekhmet.

"Yes I believe we are all well aware."

He hissed. He now turned his attention back to Loki. A wicked grin was plastered on Thoth'a face. He held out in front of him a single needle and a spool of red thread. Loki looked at it and then at Thoth. He quickly realized what was about to take place.

"Please. Don't do this."

Loki pleaded. But Thoth only sighed and threaded the needle.

"The penalty here for slander is death. But Rashida is too squeamish to deliver it to anyone ever since the incident with her father and that peasant many years ago. So this will be your punishment. Behold, foolish prince, the new adjusted punishment for blasphemy. You are humbly now it's first test subject."

"Do not do this. As Prince of Asgard I command you-"

"You will not command me, boy. You hold no power over me. Now, hold still."

Loki squirmed and Thoth tried to thread the needle through his lips. Thoth sighed and clamped his hand around Loki's chin.

"This is not going to be made easier by your struggling."

He turned to Sekhmet and the guards behind him.

"Hold him so that I may stitch his mouth shut with ease."

The two guards quickly moved to Loki's sides and grabbed him tightly, forcing him to remain still. Sekhmet tried to protest but Thoth would not listen.

The needle slipped through Loki's skin and blood oozed from the piercings. Few tears spilled from Loki's eyes and mixed with the blood the ran down his chin. Thoth came to the end of Loki's lips and tied the thread into a tight knot. Loki's mouth was covered in dry crusted blood and his eyes were red from sobbing. Thoth threw him back down to the stone ground to remain for his three days.

"Sekhmet, we are done here."

"But Thoth, he's in pain. Can't we at least help his pain?"

"Sekhmet. Let's go. Now."

Sekhmet sighed as she stole one more glance at the weak prince of Asgard. He looked as if he had been beaten senseless.

"Yes, Thoth."
