Loki followed after the princess as she left from the throne room. The princes and the princess had been dismissed from the meeting so the kings could talk more pressing matters in peace. Rashida walked to an exit outside but she was most likely just lost in the vast palace.

"Your highness, how lovely it is to see you."

Loki purred, suddenly appearing behind her, pressing himself against her back and grasping her arms so she couldn't fight him.

"Loki."

She hissed. Pure rage dripped from her voice as it did with most of her people. The kingdom of Misr wasn't one to be known for peace. It was a very blood thirsty, and non trusting country that had waged many wars upon others just to stay on top. This interested Loki.

"Let me go."

She added to her hiss. Rashida did not know much about Loki, since she hadn't seen him since they were both young, but she knew he was the god of mischief nonetheless. He nuzzled her neck and sighed softly, confusing the princess.

"Oh don't fight it, Rashida. You know I'd be the best suitor for you and your kingdom. We'd win countless wars and be feared by all of the other nine realms."

Rashida yakked herself from his grasp. He looked a little stunned but then a smile rested on his lips.

"You must take me for a fool if you think that's what I want."

She hissed and straightened her dress. Loki looked at her without letting on the He was confused. He stepped closer to her but she backed away from him.

"What I want is Peace for Misr. I wish to rule for the people, not build my empire on their backs. I do not wish for towering monuments bearing my face, proclaiming my glory. I wish for joyful subjects and peace with other kingdoms."

Loki scoffed lightly and snatched her hand. He held it up to his lips as if he were to kiss it. But he didn't. He paused, his mouth hovering over her delicate hand. His warm breath washed over her tan skin and sent a slight shiver up her spine. His eyes met hers and he held her gaze tightly.

"Yes my sweet princess, but is that the best course of action?"

He purred. He dropped her hand suddenly and shocked her. He turned to walk away, leaving a very confused Rashida all alone and by herself.

"The palace gardens are down the hall to the left, my lady."

He added as he stalked off in the opposite direction. Rashida held her hand in disbelief of the princes' actions. It was indeed, from what she knew, out of the ordinary for anyone to treat her that way. She looked down at her fingers and then she looked off in the direction he had gone. She was confused highly but intrigued at the same time. How could someone be interested in someone like her? She brushed the thought from her mind and walked off to find the palace gardens and some fresh air.
