"My baby's going off to college! I'm gonna miss you so much!" My mother whined as she hugged me tighter.
"Mom, I live literally an hour away from home. I can visit any time." I explain to her.
"I know but I just don't want you to leave me! I'll be so lonely!" She cried out.
"Wow, mom that hurts." Your brother Jimin says from behind you.
You laugh and let go of your mothers surprisingly strong grip before you lose all consciousness from how tight she was hugging you.
"Sorry Jimin but you should know by now that I'm mom's favorite child." You tease him.
"That is not true! Just because you were born first doesn't mean your the favorite child!" He snaps.
"Alright! Alright! Break it up you two! You're both my favorite! Now Jimin go and give your sister a hug before we leave."
You look at him and give him a smirk.

His pouting face had completely disappeared as you both opened your arms and hugged one another. He may be an annoying little rat sometimes but I still love him to death.
You gave your final 'goodbyes' and 'love yous' and watched as the car drove farther and farther away until you could no longer see them. Okay, first day at the campus, I wonder what my roommate will be like.
You entered the girls dorm and made your way to your assigned room. You took out your keys, unlocked the door and dragged your things inside. You didn't notice until you closed the door that someone was laying on the bed across the room.
She had dyed blue hair, an all black outfit that revealed much more skin than needed. All over her arms and parts of her legs were inked with tattoos. The complete opposite of you.
"Hello, I'm Y/n L/n." You said walking up to her bed that she was sprawled on.
"Hey, I'm Alex!" She sat up from her bed and wrapped her around me, surprising me for a second before you placed your arms around her as well.
"You said your name was Y/n right?"
"Yea it—" She cuts you off.
"Great! Well Y/n first thing you should know about this college is that the parties are the absolute best. Matter of fact, their having one tonight at the frat house, you should come with me!" She squeals gripping onto my hands.
Her outer appearance really doesn't match her personality at all.
"I don't know...I'm not much of a party person..plus I need to unpack my things." You explained to her seeing how empty your side of the room compared to hers was.
