Jungkook One Shots

~Love Project pt.3~

Today's the day Jungkook is taking me to the planetarium. Am I excited? Of course I am but I'm also freaking the hell out. I even woke up 2 hours before I usually do in the morning just so I could find the right outfit plus do my hair/makeup.

~2 hours later~

*Knock* *Knock*

"Y/n? Can I come in?" Your mother asked from outside your bedroom door.

"Yea it's open!" I yelled back as I finished curling the last strand of my hair.

"Something special happening today? You never curl your hair unless there's a special occasion." She says taking a seat on my bed.

"Nothing much, Jungkook's just taking me to the planetarium after school."

"So you guys are finally dating!?" She squealed as her face lit up with happiness.

"NO! Mom listen, it's just for our research project. We're not going on an actual date." I explained to her. My mother, ever since Jungkook and I were young, always thought that we were the perfect pair. Telling us that we were meant for each other but we always just ignored her outrageous remarks.

"Oh..what is that boy waiting for?" She mumbled under her breath.

"What?"

"Huh? Oh nothing...anyways you look beautiful Y/n and I bet Jungkook will definitely fall in love with you once he sees you all dolled up just for him." She smiled.

"Mom!" I groaned.

"Okay, okay I'm leaving but just remember Y/n, love takes time and patience." She then closed the door leaving you confused.

'Love takes patience?' Why is she telling me this? Does she know I have feelings for Jungkook? Oh who am I kidding? She's my mother who knows every little thing about me so of course she knows.

"Y/n! Jungkook's here!" My mother shouts from downstairs.

I quickly grab my bag and other belongings while I make my way down the steps. Once I made it halfway down I notice Jungkook standing by the doorway and our eyes meet. His mouth falls slightly open when he sees me but he quickly closes it after noticing. My heart is beating so fast it might explode.

"Um..*clears throat*...A-Are you ready?" He asks.

"Yea I'm ready. Mom we're leaving now!" I yell as she comes racing from the kitchen.

"Have fun at school and be safe alright? Oh and for your date later too!" She adds.

"Okay we're leaving!" I quickly say pulling Jungkook's arm along as we walk to his car. My mom can be so annoying sometimes I swear.

We get inside his car and pull out from the driveway, heading to school. I can't stop myself from looking at him so slightly turn my head to get a better look at him. How does he manage to look perfect every single freaking day?

I guess I wasn't the only one wanting to look nice for today. He's usually wearing a plain black or white t-shirt with jeans or sweats but today, he has on his black leather jacket with his ripped jeans and timberlands. Even if it's simple he makes it looks so fucking sexy.
