"Y/n? Are you okay?"

Jimin is standing right next to me yet his voice seems so distant and muffled. The only thing I can hear is Jungkook's last words repeating in my head.

"I wish we never met"

A piece of my heart broke when he said that. He didn't really mean that did he? I know he's mad at me but why? Why can I never understand him? What hurts the most is that I'm the one who should know him the best yet I feel like I know nothing about him.

"Y/n?" Jimin interrupts my thoughts.

"Huh? Sorry..I..I should go." I said sniffling my tears and getting up from the ground. My skirt had gotten some dirt on it but that was the absolute least of my problems.

"Wait, let me take you home." He offers.

"No that's alright, I'll just call a taxi or something." I said walking out to the sidewalk.

"Y/n, are you sure? I'm not trying to annoy you or anything, I'm just worried." He admits.

"I'm sure but if you don't mind, I'd like to be alone right now." I said trying not to sound rude.

"Okay, if that's what you want, but remember you can call me whenever you want. I'll answer right away alright?"

"Thanks Jimin." I said forcing a smile.

He gave my shoulder a pat with a light squeeze and then headed to his car. I took a deep breath and exhaled to try and calm myself down. I can't get the image of the way Jungkook's face looked when he said that he wished we'd never met. I've never seen him look so angry or disappointed.

Down the street I spot a taxi's headlights coming as I stick my hand out for them to notice me. They see me and pull up by the sidewalk so I can enter.

"Hello, where to?" The driver asks.

I give them my address and they begin driving to my house. I slump back into the seat and peer out the window. Each light pass we pass reminds me of the meteor shower as they both zoom past like a beam of light.

Jungkook...

I felt one tear escape from my eye and then another, and another, until the tears burst forth like water from a dam, spilling down my face. I covered my mouth so I wouldn't let out my sobs and worry the driver. I never thought it would hurt this bad.

Once I saw my house nearing, I wiped away the tears from my cheeks and took a couple deep breaths before paying the driver. I got out from the taxi, walking up my driveway until I looked over and saw Jungkook's car parked in his driveway.

I shook my head and continued walking when out of the corner of my eye, I saw a figure move from one of the windows in Jungkook's house. When I looked more closely there wasn't anyone there. Did I just imagine it? I finally entered my home and was greeted by my cheery mother as she came up to me and gave me a hug.

"So how was the da—Oh Y/n! What happened to your eyes!? Their all red and puffy!" She said grabbing your face to get a better look.

"It's nothing mom, I'm fine." I manage to say without my voice sounding too broken.

"Y/n L/n, in your seventeen years of living have you ever been able to lie to me?" She asks. I sadly shake my head as she sighs, leading me to the living room so we can sit down.

"Now, you tell me what happened. I promise I won't interrupt." She says.

"Well, we went to the planetarium and we were having a great time and all until things got a little serious when—"
