"I wonder what it's like to have someone confess to you." Your best friend Olivia sighed.

"Yea, me too." You replied nonchalantly, since you were more focused on finishing your homework.

"Y/n!" Olivia groaned, giving your arm a whack.

"Ow!" You cried.

"I'm trying to be serious here but you seem to care way more about Algebra homework than my love life!" She pouts.

"Oh sweetie," I place my hand onto her shoulder. "That's because I do." I smile innocently before continuing my homework.

"Ugh! Is this how my life will end? Single for the rest of my life?" She sighs, slumping down onto the desk.

"With that attitude, then yes." You point out.

"Then what about you huh? How would you want someone to confess to you?" She suddenly asks as you stop writing.

"Me? I don't know it's kinda silly—"

"Tell me!" She quickly says with excitement.

You place down your pencil, "Well, you know how in those romantic Christmas movies the guy confesses to the girl he likes while the snow is falling around them? That's kinda how I want mine to be like." You admit.

"Hey Y/n!!" A random voice faintly yells.

"What the—Did you hear that?" You ask, looking around quickly in search of the source.

"Hear what?" She asks, still lost in dreamland. "Uh...never mind." You reply, deciding that it was probably just your imagination.

"Well yours is pretty sweet but for me, the guy has to shower me with flowers while singing me a song and then ending with an amazing kiss along with fireworks in the background." She says, lifting her hands in the air as to mimic fireworks.

"Okay slow down there Olivia, this isn't High School Musical." You retort.

"Way to ruin my dreams." She groans, dropping down her arms.

"I'm just saying that you can't expect too much from someone. Plus, it's not like someone will confess to me anytime soon so will you please let me finish my homework now?" You plead.

"Fine, if you need me I'll be in the cafeteria." She says, getting up and hoisting her bag over her shoulder.

"Why are you going there for?" You ask.

"Because at least over there, someone won't crush my dreams!" She huffs, aiming at you. "Plus, they're having chocolate meringue pie for dessert." She adds before strutting off to the cafeteria. You sigh, finally able to get some peace and quiet.

Jk POV:

You were walking down the hallways with your friends Jimin and Taehyung when you passed the library and saw a certain someone sitting inside. Y/n.

You had a crush on her for years. You guys had known each other since you were young due to your parents being good friends. There were plenty of times when you wish you had told her your feelings but never had the courage to.

"Hey, you guys go on ahead, I'll meet you guys later. I've got something to do." You tell the guys as they stop in their tracks and divert their attention to you.

"And what is it you have to do?" Jimin asks, raising a brow.

"Uh, it's nothing just go on without me." You start trying to push them away but they aren't giving up so easily.

"Hmm..." Taehyung stares at you suspiciously before entering the library and looking around. A smirk starts forming on his face, "Oh I see, lover boy has found his mate."
