Jungkook One Shots

~Family Pt.2~

Hey guys, so I uploaded a new story yesterday called "Growing up" because I hadn't finished writing the next parts to "Home" or "Bodyguard" and I felt that since I had been updating frequently, that I needed to upload something for you guys but I can tell that you guys weren't very pleased with it so I'm sorry about that. "Jungkook...?" You stare at him in awe. You couldn't believe that he was actually standing before you after all these years.

He's changed quite a bit since you last saw him five years ago. His hair a bit longer, face more chiseled, and body much more masculine and toned than before.

Why is he here? Why now?

"...Julia honey, come here." You beckon her to come as she tiptoes her way behind you, gripping at the end of your blouse. You hold her close and take a step back from Jungkook as he stares at you with an unreadable expression.

Julia glances up at the man and then back to you, "Mommy? Who is he?"

"He's nobody Julia, don't worry about him." You quickly respond.

"Nobody huh?" Jungkook finally speaks up. "That's a bit harsh don't you think?"

You glare at him with disgust, "What are you doing here?"

"Y/n, I'm here to—"

"JULIA!!!" Jimin's voice suddenly comes from behind us as we turn around and see him running up to us in small steps. He held something in his hand which seemed to be a flower of some sort.

He runs up to Julia and holds it up to her, "Look Julia! I found a flower for you!"

Julia's eyes widen as she grabs the flower in awe, "Ooh! Thank you!"

"Let's go back so we can play!" Jimin says before both of them start running back towards the house as you go after them.

"Y/n." Jungkook's voice stops you in your tracks. You turn around and see almost what seemed like desperation in his eyes.

"We need to talk." He says as your brows knit in frustration.

You start having a mental struggle whether you should bring him to the party or not. What would I tell everyone? That he's Julia's father that abandoned us? Yea, that'd be great...If I do that, it'll cause everyone to start gossiping and just ruin Julia's party.

But...I do want to talk to him and maybe end things with him once and for all.

After deliberating, you came to a decision. Locking eyes with him, you start to get choked up in your words, "W-When we...we get there, don't tell anyone that you're Julia's father. Just tell them that you're a friend of mine."

He smiles at you and for a moment, you felt like your heart had skipped a beat. Back when you were together, every time he would smile at you, you'd get this tight feeling in your chest. Except, what you didn't like was that you were starting to feel that same feeling in your chest again.

You continue on the route to your house when Jungkook suddenly speaks up, "I didn't realize how big Julia's grown. I almost didn't recognize her."

Your heart aches hearing him say those words, "Yea, a lot can happen in five years when you aren't there for your kid."

You can tell he was taken back by your comment because he didn't respond back. The silence and tension in the air was killing you as you both neared the front of your house.

"Wait...this is actually your house?" He asks in a shocked tone.

"Yea, why?" You say, staring back at him who seems to have a confused expression on his face. "Something wrong with my house?" You ask in a joking manner.
