~Falling Pt.3~

This can't be happening. I'm not actually falling in love with Jungkook again. It's just my head messing with me. Right?

It was finally Friday which meant that after today, you'd get to have the whole weekend off. Other days you would work on weekends just to earn some extra money but you decided after this stressful week, you'd take a little time to yourself.

"Y/n? Hello?"

You were taken away from your thoughts when you heard someone calling your name. You look up and see Jungkook standing before you with the most kind, genuine smile that makes your stomach do summersaults and backflips all at the same time.

"Huh? Sorry! I was just spacing out." You say to him.

He laughs, "Yea, I kinda noticed. Anyway, I was gonna ask you if you wanted to come over to my house after work."

Your eyes widen. Go to his house? Is he being serious?

"W-Woah, hold on. Jungkook we just met again after months upon months. Don't you think you're moving kinda fast? I mean, I know we dated and all but—"

"What? Oh no, you've got it all wrong. I was gonna ask you to come over because you left some stuff at my house when we were still dating. I just never got the chance to tell you until now since you kinda blocked me on everything." He explains and you start to feel like a complete idiot.

Someone please grab a knife and put me out of my misery NOW! How stupid can I  be!? I can't believe I thought that he was trying to you know..."get frisky" tonight.

(A/n: ew, even I cringed at myself for writing that >.<)

"O-Oh...I see.." You stutter, as your cheeks blush from embarrassment.

"Why? Did you have something else in mind?" He grins.

"Wha...No! Of course not!" You blurt out while he seems to be enjoying how embarrassed you are.

He chuckles, taking a step forward as leans into your ear, "You might say no but...your face tells me otherwise." And after that, he walks off with you wanting to just dig yourself into a hole and hide forever.

~Later that day~

"Ready?" Jungkook asks, leaning against the doorframe.

"Yup. Did you drive here?" You ask.

"Actually I took the bus today. So I was wondering if you could give me a lift?" He says with those puppy dog eyes of that literally no one, not even the devil himself could resist.

Why do I get the feeling he did that on purpose just so he could ride with me?

"Oh okay then. Let's go." You say, heading out of the restaurant with him, side by side. When you reach your car, you hop into the drivers seat as Jungkook goes into the passenger side.

"I think this is the first time I've ever driven you somewhere." You mention, starting the engine.

"You're right. When we were together, I was always the one who drove." He says.

"Why is that? Were you trying to show off because you knew I was better at driving than you?" You tease as you feel his immense glare on you.

"You did not just go there. I could beat you at driving any time, any day of the week baby." He retorts in a cocky tone.

You suddenly become silent after hearing him calling you "baby." That's what you used to call each other when you were dating. It kinda felt nice having him call you that again but also sad.
