When Tira Arcelin was called into the Internal Affairs office for an interview a couple days later, she did not expect to offer her body as a solution to the problem she had created. Due to the rising conflicts in Russia, Aleksey could not be bothered at the moment. Also, Tira had no desire to make him aware of the situation she had created for herself. She had to solve the problem with her own wits.
To be honest, she was embarrassed. Considered to be genetically enhanced not only in body but also in mind, Tira could not understand why she had made such a mistake of... average intelligence. But, the mistake had been made, and now she had to -
- make it go away -
- fix it by any means necessary.
It was in the afternoon, after training the recruits, that Tira had been mandated to attend the interview. Ironically, Recruit Thompson had been 'forced' to miss his training with her due to the 'flu' he had managed to catch, but she knew full well that he had been advised to take time away from training while the initial interviews took place.
Interestingly enough, today, Tira legitimately felt sick. For breakfast, she had eaten her last chicken breast in the refrigerator and, after ingesting it, realized she could not remember how long it had actually been in the refrigerator. Ignoring the oncoming symptoms, she prepared for the interview.
Tira knew the name of the Internal Affairs Lieutenant conducting the interview, and she did not enter his office ill-prepared.
His name: Arthur Wilson.
His age: Forty-two.
Marital Status: Married, but recently separated.
Children: None.
Political beliefs: Conservative. Women need not be in the military. Restore traditional marriage. 'Where I come from, men are men and women like it'. 'Those damn Libtards.'
Favorite place to hangout: The golf club. Also, a 'massage' chamber in the dark corners of Chicago with boarded windows.
There was a lot that you could discover about the lives of government officials when you worked for another, highly intelligent government.
Before Tira entered Lt. Wilson's office, she loosened another button from her red, button-down shirt. The push-up bra she wore nicely enhanced her full breasts, and she was aware of it. Most men, and some women, could not resist looking her way even while she wore tactical clothes. Therefore, it was impossible not to look when she did everything necessary to enhance her body the way -
- society -
- she liked it.
Tira clipped her long hair into a bun to expose her slender neck, took a breath, and then she entered the office of Lt. Wilson at the Chicago police department.
The Lieutenant reminded her of Aleksey a little bit, a detail that, hand in hand with him being male, made her gag. Some, however, might consider him an attractive, middle-aged man. He had dark hair with specks of gray, hazel eyes, and he was slender with a body that proved it made consistent, dedicated trips to the gym. He probably thought it helped to keep the 'massage' women at the chamber excited to see him.
Quickly, Lt. Wilson stood up from behind a brown desk centered in the tan-walled, windowless room. He wore a suit and a red tie that looked to be a solid strangulatory weapon. The room was as conservative as he was, with limited items.
'Smart,' Tira thought. 'Fewer items to be used as weapons.' However, as trained, her quick-searching eyes found anything that could, potentially, hurt her.
