Jason and I had walked back to our rooms together after leaving the cinema, once again he had kissed the top of my head while embracing me, I was getting way too used to this.

"See you tomorrow, Lottie." He squeezed me tighter while he spoke, then pulled away.

"Sleep well." I smiled and watched him walk down the hallway and into his room.

Once he was out of sight, I opened my door, got ready for bed double checked my rota for tomorrow. I glanced at the staff entertainment schedule, I hadn't paid much attention to it before now.

Wednesday 7-10pm: Staff Swim Party

That sounded fun, I hadn't been to the new swimming pool since it had opened, and I had heard that a whole new outdoor section with rapids had been built. I picked up my phone from my nightstand and scrolled down to Jason's number he had put into my contacts.

Lottie: Hey, you busy tomorrow after work?

The reply came almost instantly.

Jason: Why? Wanna take me on a date? ;)

Lottie: If that's what you wanna call it, sure.

I was surprised by how much braver I could be over text, I'd never have called it a date to his face.

Jason: Well that depends on what you've got in mind x

I internally squealed at the kiss he had put at the end of the message, was I actually doing something right?

Lottie: Staff swim party? X

Jason: Of course, you just wanted to see me in my trunks ;) x

I rolled my eyes.

Lottie: If that's what you wanna call it, sure x

Jason: It's a date x

I put my phone down on the nightstand, plugged it in and shut my eyes, head on the pillow.

I woke up the next morning and the daily routine was starting to take place, I repeated the same steps I had the previous few days, Jason knocked on my door and we headed to breakfast together.

"Anyone else going to that swim party tonight?" Luke asked everyone, sitting across from me on the table, next to Emily.

"I'm not getting chlorine in my hair." Emily gave a disapproving look to Luke. He subtly rolled his eyes.

"Yeah, me and Lottie are going," Jason announced, almost too happily.

Luke's eyebrows shot up and his gaze switched between Jason and me in a questioning glance.

"Yeah, me and Jenny are too." Tommy looked over to Jenny who he was sitting next to and put an arm around her. Now my eyebrows shot up in surprise. Jenny looked down at her food and blushed. I did not see that coming.

"Jesus, guys! It's not even been a week and all of you are already paired up!" Alex exclaimed in disbelief.

I couldn't help but giggle, it was true. Luke and Emily were getting back together, Jenny and Tommy had made a start, and Jason and I were going on our first proper date tonight.

"Ready to make a start?" Jason's voice sounded near my ear.

I nodded, stood up and took our trays to the racks. Today we were on the umbrella rides, these used to be my favorite as a little kid, I waited for ages to be tall enough to go on the ride by myself, without my mum assisting me.
