As I walk across the hallway, I kept a straight and blank face. I felt some students looked at me while gossiping with their friends but I don't care. I just don't get why people gossip about other people's lives? Why can't they focus on their problems dang it? My eyes automatically rolled at the thought while continuously walking.

Few more minutes of walking, I reached my first period and immediately took the seat near the window. The whole room was filled with a huge amount of chattering from different groups. Some talk about sports, some gossips, and others played games or with their phones.

Without anyone to talk to, I kept my gaze outside the window searching for something; something interesting. I kept searching until I laid a glance at the figure. Based on what I see, it's a man. A man with blazing red eyes dressed in dark clothing. He was sitting on a branch staring back at me. We kept staring and staring until I heard someone call my name. I snapped back to reality and turned to see who called me. I was so interested in that foreign figure to the point that I hadn't noticed my professor's presence.

"Mr. Montes," Ms. Jane started. "if you're going to stare at the window for the whole period, might as well go out." She added with a matching serious stare towards me. Out of embarrassment, I hang my head low before uttering a small "Sorry." She continued teaching while the whole class listened silently. I secretly looked at the spot where I saw that man, but I was unfortunately he's not there. I felt a slightly cold breeze run down my spine as my eyes widened in confusion. I retrieved my gaze and tried to focus on what Ms. Jane is teaching.

After my third period ended, it's lunchtime. And like every other day, I went straight to the back of the school where there's not much of a student hanging. I sat under a tree before putting my headphones on and began eating my lunch while reading a book. I was about to eat my last sandwich where I saw that same figure staring at me. He was leaning against a tree with arms crossed in front of his chest. Curiosity ran through my brain and decided to approach the guy. The guy smirked before he began to walk away. I, on the other hand, stood up and walked to him. I was about a few meters away from the mysterious guy when I got cut off by the bell. I looked at my wristwatch realizing that it's ten minutes before my next period. I looked at the guy but he's gone. I looked everywhere but none. So I ended up running back to my stuff and my next period.

Thankfully, all of the professors had an emergency meeting making all the students have an early dismissal. I was silently walking through an empty hallway with my earphones on and that mysterious guy running through my head. 'Who is that guy?' 'Why does he staring at me?' 'Why do his eyes...red?' 'Why do-' My train of thoughts was cut by the sound of my ringtone. I fished it out of my pocket before answering.

"Hey." I greeted. The person on the other line chuckled before replying.

"Why'd you answer my call? Don't you have class right now?" He asked.

"Professors had an emergency meeting so we've been dismissed early." I replied. "Cool. Wanna go somewhere? My treat." He said. I smiled widely. "Yeah sure. Meet you at the park." I replied before ending the call. I was about to put my phone back in my pocket when it suddenly rang. I looked at the caller ID before answering.

"Hey bes! I heard there's a book fair at the mall. Come with me! This is not a request, it's an order." Aira stated followed by a playful chuckle. I was about to tell her that I can't but she already ended the call. I shook my head followed by a sigh. I finally put my phone in my pocket and went silently to the park.

I quietly roam around the park while waiting for Aira and John to arrive. Kids were happily playing on the playground while their parents or guardians simultaneously looked at them and had a chat with each other. I was busy walking and appreciating the view to the point that I accidentally bumped into someone. We glanced at each other that were eventually went on to stare. As we kept staring, I saw something in his eyes. It was like it glowed the same color from the guy at the campus. We were staring for a while now and I kept on observing his eyes but got cut off when a hand suddenly held his followed by a high-pitched voice.

"Kuya, let's go home." a young cute girl said sweetly. His brother, I assumed, blinked before looking at his sister. "Ye-yeah sure." The guy said then carried his sister and walked away. I blankly stared at them wondering why he has that eyes. 'Is he that mysterious guy from school?' 'Why'd he kept looking at me if he is?' My mind was flooded with more and more questions that it seems to not make sense.

I was still staring at the path where the guy went while deeply thinking of the possibilities and probabilities until it was interrupted by someone who appeared from nowhere. "He's kinda cute." The girl said. I was surprised and looked at Aira's curious face beside mine. She looked back at me with a suspicious look with her eyebrows moving up and down. "Stop looking at me like that geez." I blurted out sheepishly before sitting on a bench near us. "It looks like someone has a crush." She stated before sitting beside me and poking my waist. I grabbed her finger and stared at her eyes. "Absolutely not me." I replied. She glared at me before retrieving her finger. "Bakit, sinabi ko bang ikaw?" She asked followed by her arms crossing under her breast.

I was about to reply but I got cut off when I saw John approaching. "Hi." He greeted. "Sorry I took a while, traffic eh." He added with his gorgeous smile showing his perfectly white teeth. I stayed staring at him which he did the same. "Ano teh, magtititigan na lang ba tayo dito?" Aira interrupts. I growled and rolled my eyes at her before telling John the reason why she's here. "He 'ordered' me to escort her to a book fair." I said. John just smiled then put his arm around my shoulder and gently patted and playfully mess my hair. "I don't mind. Let's go." He said. We all nodded and went straight out of the park. But as we walk out, I took a glance at the whole park wondering if the guy was still there but quickly returned my attention to Aira's nonsense stories when I confirmed that the guy wasn't there anymore. When we reached John's car, he opened the door for me before walking to the other side and entering the driver's seat.

"Gagawin pa akong third wheel nitong dalawa." Aira groaned as she enters the car herself. "And ang gentleman niyo talaga." She said. "Ay sorry." John apologizes with a peace sign while I looked at her playfully with my tongue out. "Hindi ka daw kasi mukhang lady." I said. Her jaw slightly dropped with her hand on her breast. "Oh, this bitch has an attitude huh?" She said. "Well John, I hope you find a new boyfriend and leave this bitch alone." She added. John simply laugh and held my hand. "That may seem impossible." He said before driving the car to the mall. And while on the way there, Aira and I simultaneously teased each other and laughed at each other's jokes while John kept silent and simply listen to us.

Meanwhile, without anyone noticing, a figure hidden in a tree was glaring at Morris and John. "That should be me." He said. His fist tightened as he continues to look at them. "Don't worry, you'll have your revenge...soon." The voice stated followed by a devilish laugh. He smirked before punching a hole on the tree he was, then leave.
