Hunting The Rabbit

As bits of pieces of glass-like energy were slowly disappearing, Macleous and his minions began to approach Morris' cabin. He knew exactly what was going on inside the cabin that made him smirk deviously as he thought of how pathetic their strategy was. He ordered his minions to search the whole cabin that took almost an hour, but none of his minions came back. His smirk grew darker as he started to walk slowly towards the cabin.

"I guess you are too scared to face me," He stated as he form a black magic ball on his hands and played with it. "might as well burn you to death." He added before he threw the magic ball onto the cabin and flames started to appear. Within a split second, the fire burned the entire cabin into ash but to Macleous' surprise there is no one inside the cabin and it's just a diversion.

Macleous' smirk began to fade as he looked around the area looking for the real cabin Sam and the others were hiding at. Macleous' smirk crept his face as he saw a cabin that is identical to the one he burned down.

"Come out, come out wherever you are." Macleous said as he approach the real cabin with a much bigger black energy ball was forming into his hands.

Inside the cabin, Sam knew Macleous found them. "He already found us." He stated. The others didn't look surprised or whatever they already knew that it won't take long for Macleous to find them.

"Let's now proceed to our next step." Max continued as everyone else nodded. Morris, John, and Julius moved beside Max while Sean and Ian moved to Sam. Sam grouped it this way so that Max and Ian won't be together as to what his jealousy would trigger. They were ready for teleporting and just waiting for Macleous to strike, and he did. Macleous threw his dark magic ball to the cabin and it—almost instantly—went on fire. But he was surprised as he again saw no one dead and burned.

Max with his brother, John, and Julius landed not far from the area where Macleous is at. They began to get their weapons, ready to attack and kill Macleous' minions; and hopefully Macleous himself. On the other hand, Sam with Sean, and Ian landed near the lake. There, they quickly prepared themselves for killing and attacking.

While preparing, Sean approached Ian. "Hey, are you okay?" He asks. Ian simply nodded as he continued to prepare. Sean replied with a low "okay" as he also prepare.

"Handa na ba kayo?" Sam asks for a few minutes of preparing. Sean and Ian stood straight before they both nodded their heads. "Tara na. Let's finish this." Sam stated. They began to walk and hide for the attack they have planned.

A few minutes later, Macleous ordered his minions to search the whole forest. He waited at the same spot impatiently but as hours and hours passed by, none of his minions returned. He decided to search for them himself. He cast a spell that made him split into three and began to search. His first duplicate searched near the lake, the second one searched deep in the forest, and lastly, Macleous himself searched near the exit.

As Macleous searched, Morris and the others killed more and more minions. They planned on attacking from behind and surprising their opponent; which worked. As they wandered around the forest—while continuously hiding—they spotted a duplicate of Macleous. Julius was about to attack him but Morris pulled and stopped him instantly.

"Anong ginagawa mo? Ayan na siya oh! TARA NA!" Julius whisper–yelled back at Morris. Morris furrowed his eyebrows before covering Julius' mouth. "Hindi ka ba nag-iisip? Hindi si Macleous yan. Hindi niya isusugal ang sarili niya." Morris replied with an annoyed tone.

They kept hidden as the fake Macleous passed by. But as he was walking, he noticed and felt that eyes are watching him. He looked around to find where that gaze was coming from and it landed straight to Morris' eyes. But since they are hiding far from the fake Macleous, Morris thought that it didn't see him; but he's wrong. The fake Macleous turned to another spot before letting out a smirk. The fake Macleous started to walk again and within a second it disappeared.
