"MAGBABAYAD KA!!" Max exclaimed before he blasted a massive ball of magic towards Macleous. Macleous stared at the magic ball approaching him and simply dodging it with a serious look on his face. Max threw another magic ball and again it didn't hit Macleous as he vanished in thin air.

"LUMABAS KA! HUWAG KANG DUWAG!!" Max yelled as he looked around searching for Macleous but nothing—he's not around. He let out a sigh as tears began to fall from his eyes. He slowly went towards Sam but all of a sudden he felt something weird. He began to feel dizzy and his sight was blurring.

"Sa—Sam..." Max inaudibly called. He slowly fell onto the ground as he forced himself to crawl and reached for Sam's help but unfortunately it's simply useless. He laid to the ground as his energy was draining every second passed by. He then began to feel that his eyes were getting heavy and barely kept it open as a pair of feet approached him before finally, his eyes shut closed, falling into a deep slumber.

"MAX!!" Sam screamed as he stare at a lifeless Max laying on the ground. He instantly felt like his heart was tearing into pieces while hundreds of knives continuously stabbing it, tears falling on his cheeks, and repeatedly blaming himself for doing nothing. Dark thoughts full of regrets began to clog Sam's head while looking at his secret lover. Sam then glanced at Macleous with teary eyes but Macleous only smirked before disappearing. Sam and Sean were alone in a chilly and painful—but still frozen—cliff as a stream of tears continuously fell on their faces. They were quietly sobbing until a hand patted Sam's shoulder.

"You could save him..." Macleous stated as he appeared in front of his son. "in one condition...kailangan mong kumampi sa akin." He continued but no response was heard instead, Sam simply stared at Macleous while more tears flooded his face. Macleous then went to Sean who is giving Macleous the deadliest glare he could do.

"Take a pick, seeing your lover lifeless but you'll team up with me or you refuse but it's over for him..." Macleous stated before pointing at Max "It's your choice..." Macleous added as he held Sean's shoulder, squeezing it gently while looking at him intensely. "so...is it a deal?" Macleous asked as he looked at Sam. Sam didn't respond and remained silent that made Macleous release a knowing sigh before attempting to punch Sean on his abdomen but Sam stopped him before he could even touch Sean.

"Sige na, buhayin mo lang si Max at layuan mo na sila." Sam stated. Macleous grinned before unfreezing Sam. "Sure..." Macleous pauses for a second before continuing to unfreeze his son. "but there's a tiny bit of a problem...he won't know who you are at hindi mo rin siya pwedeng lapitan." Sam was caught off guard at what he heard. He glanced at his father for a second before returning to stare at nothing and letting out a deep sigh. "Fine." Sam replied. Macleous' grin grew bigger before finishing to unfreeze Sam.

"He'll be waking up in a few days and..." Macleous stated. "Sean won't remember you as well so...better bid your farewell." Macleous stated as he pats Sam's shoulder. Sam nodded in response before he approached the cold, lifeless body of Max and caged it with his warm embrace, and almost instantly tears began to flood his eyes, again.
