One summer day, a jet-black-haired boy was laying on the park's grass while playing with his toys happily. From all the noise around him, one sound caught his attention. "HELP!" The boy rose and searched for the owner of the voice, instead, he noticed no one was searching or even hearing what he heard. 'Am I the only one hearing this?' he thought. Out of curiosity, he stood and began to wonder. He walked and walked and finally ended at the end of the park where there are not many people hanging, with hands placed on his knees catching his breath. He stood straight with knitted eyebrows as he continuously searches for the location of the voice until he looked up and saw a boy dangling from a branch—barely holding, as his grip was slowly slipping. His eyes widened and immediately called for help. Once the help arrived the boy was saved and checked by the park's medical team. The brunette boy was questioned by the nurse but the boy remained silent so the nurse let it go with a sigh. After the nurse finished checking the boy, the black-haired boy came. Noticing the foreign figure, the brunette boy glanced at the other for a quick second before quickly returning his gaze to his shoes.
"How are you?" Asked the black-haired boy. The brunette boy shrugged before patting the chair beside him. The black-haired boy stayed still, too shy to be near the other bo.
The brunette boy eyed the boy with a black lacks before uttering. "Sit." Said the brunette boy. The black-haired boy gulped before slowly sitting on the chair. Once the boy was beside him, he sighed then spoke. "Thanks for helping me," He said. The brunette boy glanced at the other receiving a wide smile in reply. The black-haired boy's smile slowly fades when the brunette boy retrieved his gaze back and returned it to his shoes.
"Wala yun." Black-haired replied while flashing a sheepish smile. "Teka matanong ko lang, ano ba kasing ginagawa mo dun?" he added. The brunette boy exhales another breath before lifting his head and resting it at the wall.
"Nag-iisip. Madalas akong mag punta lalo na 'pag marami akong iniisip." He replied. The black-haired boy blinked a few times followed by his brows knitted.
"Eh bakit...bakit ka nakalambitin kung matagal ka nang napunta dun?" He asked in a slightly high tone. The brunette boy shot him a blank stare making the other lean backward with a peace sign followed by an unsure grin.
"Anyway, nagtataka talaga ako." The black-haired boy stated as he rests his head on the wall before looking at the brunette boy. The brunette's blank stare was replaced by a questioning look. The other boy automatically understood the other's expression, making him retrieve his look and release a sigh. "Bakit parang ako lang nakarinig nung sigaw mo? Eh, ang dami ng tao kanina?" The black-haired boy asked. The brunette boy was stunned at the other's question before retrieving his stare.
They were quiet for a while before the black-haired boy broke the silence with a deep sigh followed by him standing up. "Uhmm...see you tomorrow?" He asked. The brunette boy remained silent making the other confused. The black-haired boy leaned forward towards the brunette and lightly shook him. The latter looked at the black-haired boy while blinking a few times before responding. "Ah...ano yun?" He replied. The black-haired boy stared at the brunette boy sincerely. "Ok ka lang ba?" He asked. The brunette boy nodded followed by a reassuring smile. "Sige, una na ako." The black-haired boy stated before turning around and taking a step forward but as he was about to take another step, he stopped then turned around and stretched his hand out. "By the way, I'm John." The black-haired boy said. The brunette boy looked at the outstretched hand of the latter before grinning and taking the hand. "Ace." The brunette said. They shook their hands for a good second before retrieving each other's hands and bidding their farewells.
