"Um hey...uh I'm sorry." Morris said from the phone. John, who's happily walking, stopped. "Something came up." Morris added. "It's okay. Just call me if you need help." John replied before he continued walking. "I'm really sorry. Bawi ako next time, promise." Morris replied. John entered a bookstore with a smile plastered on his face. They talked for a couple more minutes before they ended the call.

While John searched for a book, he saw someone familiar. He moved closer while still remembering who the guy was in front of him then one moment, there's this cloudy scene that popped in his head. A scene where two boys sitting in a tree, happily teasing each other. "Ace?" John utter. Ace turned around followed by a widening of his eyes and a slight change in his heartbeat. "J...John?" Ace uttered. John flashed a smile before nodding as a reply. "Kamusta ka na?" Ace asked. John shrugged. "Ayos lang. Ikaw?" He replied. "Ayos lang din." Ace answered. They kept quiet for a few seconds. "So..." John started. "What are you doing here?" He asked. Ace rolled his eyes followed by him picking a book up. "Obvious ba? Bookstore 'to diba?" He said while pointing at the book and shaking his head.

John invited Ace for a meal which Ace agreed to. Along the way, they kept talking about their lives in the past — almost — decade they were apart. John apologized for their leave and didn't inform Ace. Ace kept quiet but then he quickly changed the topic. "So..." He started. "Bakit hindi mo nga pala kasama si Mo..." He was about to say Morris' name but luckily he was stopped by Macleous who simply growled at Ace's head. Ace's eyes slightly widened and he quickly rephrased his question. "...ah yung girlfriend mo? Wait may girlfriend ka na ba?" Ace asked in a slightly panicked tone. John chuckled lowly making Ace gulp and dumbfoundedly stare at how sexy John is when he chuckled.

John didn't reply instead, he entered a Japanese restaurant. "You do eat Japanese food right?" John asked. Ace simply nodded at kept quiet at how John ignored his question and changed the topic. They sat beside the window while John ordered for them and Ace kept quiet. Once the waiter walked away, John sat straight and faced Ace who was looking outside through the window with a pout on his face. John stared at Ace before sighing. "Boyfriend." he simply replied. "I have a boyfriend." He repeated. Ace looked at John confused. "You heard it right." John stated while nodding his head at a small smile form on his mouth. "And his name is Marcus." John finished. Ace nodded before replying. "So...how...long have you been together?" He asked. John took a chopstick and began playing with it. "Since 11th grade." John respond. Ace nodded before gazing at the window and went completely silent. John felt that his phone vibrated so he quickly took it out of his pant pocket and read the message.

Ace looked at John, who is widely smiling at his phone. Ace's eyes automatically rolled as he thought 'Ako yung kasama pero siya pa rin yung kausap niya.' Although having a hint of jealousy, he remained quiet and do nothing as per Macleous' order. Ace was tempted to use his special abilities against John as he was so eager to have his revenge but Macleous kept on stopping him. Ace was looking at John, who's busy with his phone, for quite a while until the waiter came with their orders.

Once the waiter had placed all of their orders, they began eating; still in a quiet and a little awkward atmosphere. While eating, John's phone vibrated which he took quite happily.
