"Wow, you look ever so stunning!" Sam stated as he saw me enter the ballroom.

I smiled at him, "Well, you're not bad yourself too." I said. "Guess my brother did a great job huh?" I joked. He smiled out of shyness and scratch the back of his neck.

I shook my head and ask him where we will be sitting. We found a seat in the middle part of the ballroom. I—not in the mood—quickly sat down.

After a few unentertaining minutes, the MC ordered us to be settled. Everyone sat and quiet down as the MC mentioned some of the special guests for this night.

As they give their welcome remarks and messages, I got bored and text John that I regret going to this party. He didn't reply instead I got a message from that same unknown number.

Unknown Number
6:20 pm

Aren't u having fun? It's a shame. Don't worry u'll have it later.

As I read through the message, I felt frightened. I looked around to find where he/she is because base on his/her message, he/she is just around and I need to find him/her.

Few more minutes of talking by the MC. The Dj started to turn on the music. As slow–love music starts most of the students stood up and dance to the music together with their partners.

I—on the other hand—just sat there unamused. Sam isn't here for me to talk to, so I glanced at the other student who're dancing. I was staring at them for quite some time until a hand was placed in front of me.

"Hey, may I have this dance?" Ace's voice. I know, I didn't expect to be familiar with his voice but yeah that's how it goes. I look at his hand then his face—who's covered with a plastic mask.

"Sige na, kahit ngayon lang." He stated. I looked in a different direction, battling with my thought about whether I should take it or not. In the end, I just sigh and took his hands.

We went into the middle of the ballroom as he place his hands on my waist. I—uncomfortably—placed my hands on his shoulder.

"You're stunning...as always." He said, breaking the awkward silence between us. I smiled at him not wanting to look at him directly.

"Salamat nga pala." He said—again—breaking the silence. I looked at him confused. But as I laid my eyes on him, my heart instantly beats obnoxiously. I step back as I stare at him. His eyes were the same as the shadow that has been following me for 2 weeks now. I can see confusion in his eyes but his lips were curved in a demonic smirk.   (A/N: Is that possible?)

He forward and I step back, the cycle goes on until I step once more but this time I bumped into a person I didn't bother looking at. He then grabbed me and placed his hands on my waist tightly. I was shocked but I didn't let him see that instead, I continued staring at him—rather furious opposing what I feel inside.

He still kept that signature smirk of him while he stares at me for quite some time and thank god for saving me as the MC calls out our attention. We both looked at the MC and back to each other. His eyes were normal now, but I was still confused and frightened at what I have just seen.

We took our separate way and sat on our separate sit. I'm still in deep thoughts as Sam calls my attention. I looked at him confused as if asking him for answers.

His happy smile was replaced by worried ones. "What's wrong?" He asks. I was about to answer but the name—that was the MC called—took my attention.

"What a fine young man, Mr. Gacia. You look exquisite from what you've decided to wear." The MC said as soon as Ace stepped on that stage. Ace smiled as a response to the compliment the MC said to him. "How're you?" he added.

"Fine, I guess." He replied with a smile. "How 'bout you?" He asks in return.

"Fine as well." He shortly replies. "Well, Mr. Garcia here was assigned by Mr. Dein to perform a spoken word poetry." He started. "Now without further-a-do, here's the mic." He added and leave Ace alone on the stage. He close his eyes and took a deep breath before he spoke.

"Good evening everyone. So before I start this poem, I just want to leave a message." He started. He took a deep sigh—again—before continuing. "I hope you find happiness all of the time. I hope he gives everything you wanted, basically spoil you. I hope he makes you smile and happy every day. Keep safe and always remember that I'm always here; I'm just around." he said. Everyone was awed except me. I felt weird. Especially that last three words that came out of his mouth.

"So the title I came up with is 'Masaya sa Kaniya' so yeah here it goes."

"Masaya sa Kaniya"
made by: Ace Garcia

At I guess, nahuli niya ang iyong kiliti.
Kaya kahit masakit
At saka sana'y malaman mong mahal kita,
At tandaang andito ako;
Andito lang ako't naghihintay sa pagbalik mo;
Sumusuporta sa bawat desisyong ginawa mo;
Aalalay sa bawat problemang kinahaharap mo.

He took a bow and as he stood straight, he smirk. That familiar smirk gave me chills. He looked in my direction and I was frightened. That same eyes, appear. I felt my eyebrows knitted together as a sign of confusion.

We stared at each other for a brief 2 minutes before all of the lights were turned off. Everyone in the room stood up and gradually panic as the lights aren't turning back on. Sam and I stood as well with the others confused. As we stood, I was shocked because out of nowhere, someone grabbed my hand and pulled me through the dark ballroom.
