Stef

I watched as Callie walked into kitchen and ignored me. I then watched as Callie grabbed a piece of toast and pulled out a mug then poured herself some coffee. "Callie, can we talk?" I asked softly and she looked at me.

"There is nothing to talk about.." Callie replied in a monotone.

"There is a lot to talk about-"

"Well, let's hear it then Stefanie." Callie said as she roughly pulled out a chair, slammed her toast on the table and slammed her mug but not too hard so it could spill. She sat down and looked me dead in the eye. "Come on, why look so nervous now?" I felt my heart beat fast and I tried to not let her get to me.

"I know there is no excuse to what I and your father did." I stuttered and Callie rolled her eyes.

"What is this man's name and where the hell is he now?"

"I-I-"

"Oh, come on! All I want to know is who my father is and god, I hope he is a better person then you are." Callie muttered angrily and I looked over at the picture of Mike and I with Brandon. Callie followed my gaze and stood up, grabbed the photo frame.

Callie

I looked at him, the other person who let me down. But, he looked so like me. I used my finger to trace along his features. "Callie, he is gone." I looked up and shook my head.

"Well of course, he isn't here. You are married to a dyke." I whispered and I heard Stef sigh softly.

"No, I mean. He is dead." Stef whispered gently and I felt her walk closer towards me and stopped when I could almost feel her breathing on my shoulder. "He died in a shooting." I felt something hurt in my chest. "Callie..."

"I can remember him." I whispered gently as I turned around and walked backwards from Stef. "And I can remember Brandon." Stef looked hopeful. "But, you.... I don't."

"It will be a matter of time, Callie bear." Stef whispered then I laughed.

"You think I want to remember a person like you?" I said and laughed in her face. "You let whoever the person was take me! You let them take me!'

"So, did Mike!" Stef pleaded softly. "It wasn't my fault! He wanted to do it. I tried, baby. I tried."

"You didn't try hard enough." I whispered softly. "It wasn't fair on me. You hurt me in so many ways that I don't even think I could forgive you for." Stef tried to get closer but I kept walking backwards.

"I didn't mean for this to happen."

"WELL, IT DID. I GOT HURT!" I screamed at her and tears started to fall down her eyes.

"I wish I could take away all the hurt from you." Stef whispered and I shook my head. "Callie Bear, I wish I stood up for you."

"But, you didn't." I stated softly but in a angry way. "Where were you?" Stef looked at me in confusion. "Where were you when I fell down at the park and broke my arm when my foster mother left me there so she could get her hair done? Or where were you when my foster father drank too much and tried to hurt me but what stopped him was the police because the neighbors heard screaming. My screaming! Where were you when I got kicked, beaten and teased? Where were you, Stefanie? Wait, you were here!"

"Please Call-"

"No, Lena. She needs to hear this!" I screamed as I looked back at Stef who was holding her mouth trying to not sob. "You were here enjoying your family that you had without me in it. You had Brandon, Jude, Mariana and Jesus."

"Callie, please." Stef whispered as tears fell down both of our eyes.

"You gave me up for what?" I questioned angrily. "You gave me up for nothing." I grabbed the photo frame of everybody in the Foster Family. "I should of been a part of this." I shook my head in disbelief. "But, I wasn't so don't start to include me in this. I didn't need a family before so I sure in hell do not need this family now." I threw the photo frame on the ground which made Stef and Lena jump. I barged my way out of the triangle and ran into my room.

Lena

As soon as Callie ran out of the room, Stef fell down onto the ground and broke down. This was hard on me to see a strong woman break down. I decided to walk over and kneel down to Stef to console her. "Love, please." I whispered as I held her. "Please, stay strong."

"My little girl hates me, Brandon hates me." Stef said between sobs. "How am I meant to do this. The guilt and hurt is too much to bear, please help me."

"Baby, I will help you. You will have me through this." I kissed her wet forehead and she just cried until she fell limp into my lap. Mariana walked in when Stef fell asleep. "Mari, please help me." She nodded and help get me up then we carried Stef to the living room. We laid her down with a pillow and blanket then I gave Mariana a hug then proceeded to clean the glass. After I cleaned the glass, I got the photo and sighed. "Aw. Cals." I said under my breath then heard footsteps coming towards me. I looked behind me and Brandon stood there. "B-"

"I am going away to Nanna's." Brandon announced and I looked at him in confusion. "All I need is your okay then I will be off."

"Your Mum needs to have a say in this too." I said softly but Brandon shook his head.

"Please, I need a break from this nightmare." He gave me his cutest puppy look that he knows I could resist.

"Okay, fine. But, only for a few days."

"Deal." And he ran out with his duffel bag to his car to go to his Nana's.

"Oh. Brandon." This was a long road ahead of us.
