Shiro walked down the hallway, headed for Curtis' dorm. He had no idea he'd been hospitalized so many times, and now that he knew he didn't trust Curtis with that medicine. He'd read the bottle, and he knew those were strong pills. He worried about his officer, especially after his response to the talk they had yesterday. He didn't want help, but if he didn't get it he was only going to get worse. He raised his hand to knock but before he could he heard sobbing. He stopped, and listened for a moment. It was quiet, and a broken kind of crying. And it was the kind that hurt the most to listen to.
Shiro knocked on the door quietly.
"Curtis?"
The sobbing stopped suddenly, and he heard him shaking get up to open the door. When the captain saw his face, he nearly started crying himself.
"C-captain Shirogane! Sorry, I wasn't expecting you...,"
