I keep thinking of the word enigma. I didn't even know what it meant earlier but it was stuck in my head so I looked it up and it's one of those mysterious words that you've heard and read a lot but every time you've seen it, you've skimmed the sentence and never actually tried to understand it because it took to long to read. and after seeing the definition, I can confidently say that it doesn't even matter what it means because you could use the word in so many different contexts and just tell people it means something random and completely incorrect and they'd believe you because they've skimmed it so often and still don't feel like looking it up themselves.
