I've been thinking a lot lately about what it means to be a good person. does it mean you don't do bad things you know you're not supposed to, or does it mean just having the good outweigh the bad when considering a net total? what is classified as "bad things"? it seems we all mentally sort the people in our life into categories but never with set standards. my best friends could do the same things as someone else I'm not as close with and end up viewed in a different category as them. why is that? what truly dictates between the good and bad, and what separates the salvageable from the unsalvageable? those are some things to consider.
