Yo! Did anyone hear shots fired??? Bang! Bang!! That was Abdulmaleek wishing he did not make the biggest mistake of his life. He sat across from Ajeay in his office. There were boxes all packed, Abdulmaleek was no longer the manager of his father enterprise. He sat quietly letting the rage consume him as Ajeay tried to explain. He never let his friends close to her, he knew what some of them were capable of, now he wished he hid her further away from them.

"Ka gane we've been friends online tun lokacin, and now that you're married.."

"Get out!" Abdulmaleek said bluntly. Married or not, he found no excuse for Ajeay's actions
"Senior.."
"Get out before I kill you" his eyes red with anger, he firmly looked at Ajeay, holding every muscle in his body, trying so hard not to indeed kill him"

Ajeay quietly stood up and left.

Abdulmaleek blew up her phone with calls, all which she kept ignoring like she had been since their last call. She was in class, so her phone was on silent, a text message popped in and she viewed it "Tahira! Dont do this to me" he texted.
Immediately after reading it she knew that Ajeay had told him. Two hot tears ran down her cheeks, another text came in "anyone Tahira, anyone but my friend"

She stood bolt up from her seat, she walked to the front of the class "can I please be excused sir? I don't feel so well" the lecturer took one look at her and knew indeed she didn't feel well "go!" He replied.

She ran outside, gasping for air. "What have I done" her nerves went haywire, her palms drenched in sweat.
Text messages kept coming in "Tahira don't do this to me"
"Tahira please don't do this to me"

The guilt struck it's ugly head reminding her that she was wrong "Goddamn it Tee! Get your shit together" she told herself out loud, seeing how easily out of control she was going. She dropped her handbag to the floor, she was afraid, but afraid of what?! She felt her chest tighten and her breath seizing. She threw away her veil and dragged off her headgear. Two ladies passing stopped to look "Hey are you Ok?"

She gasped hard for air, but it was like her lungs were shutting off "get her some water" she heard one of the ladies say, the other picked up her bag and her other thrown off wears, she helped Tahira to a slab where she sat her down. "I can't breathe" Tahira struggled.

"Just stay calm and pray" the lady said, the other one came with water "gashi ki sha, ko zaki samu sauki" {drink this, you might feel better}

After a while she was able to calm herself, when she got home, she went straight to her room, then she texted him back "It's what 'prostitutes' do"
He called her severally, and so did Ajeay, but she ignored both.

Abdulmaleek came to her house at night, parked and called her but to no avail, he texted he "I'm outside, I just want to talk" still she ignored him, he sent her gateman but nothing.

Tahira was happy Daddy travelled the next day after he asked her about Ajeay, which gave her enough time to think before he gets back and ask her again.

The next day she had lectures from 4-5, and since mallam Talle took mommy out , she had to take a tricycle. She came out with a positive mindset, hoping she didn't have to face either of the two men who bursted her phone with messages and phone calls. She didn't see his car until she walked a bit too far from her gate.

Did anyone hear shots fired?! Bang! bang!! That was Tahira's heartbeat shooting up from her chest. She stopped immediately she spotted him coming out of the car, wearing a T-shirt and jeans. Now she knew exactly what she was afraid of; facing Abdulmaleek.

Her eyes found his, she felt a kind of sadness that made her heart feel hopeless, desperate and despondent, and then there was this lurking fear that something terrible might happen. She told her self to man up and face him, two more steps and she stopped, she watched him walking closer.
