This Forbidden Play...As my appearance is just a conscious manifestation of light. Would you accept your new destiny? Or let it crush you?

Whatever can silence be? For is there not always the sound of your own fear? There is light, yet also blackness painted a canvas for nightmare; if there is darkness present, there is always something. So as the quietness grows deeper and she could hear her own heartbeat from within.

"Impossible..." - Peridot voice shaking, eyes stared soullessly at Lapis, the shock was too big, the one you loved is now trying to kill you.

"You're not dead yet?", Lapis keep coming closer with fierce tension, "then I will have to use a better method".

Both of her hands' grip suddenly, a massive wave of earthquake bringing the surface crack, fist of water came from everywhere.

"Stop it!! Why are you attacking me?!"

"Shut it Demon, you don't have the right to talk in here!"

Peridot scanned Lapis's face for a reaction, the growl spreading in the air like the suspended moment before a falling smash got shatters on the ground. She expected her to crumble, wail or dissolve into pains. The attack was direct to Peridot location, as Lapis expected her to stay down. Instead, she got up and started defending herself.

In the light that water flows through like walls, the tense against the shaking of her limbs is reaching but she tried to suppress it for a few more moments. On her arm, there are great crimson liquid came running down. Against her skin they are grotesque, but she was lucky not to have broken bones.

What do I do now...

"Quit moving around so I could make it easier for you" - Lapis threated.

Peridot looks as beat up as the last time she's at that field, back in the early days when Yellow Diamond blasts the whole area on earth. Yet, right now, with different circumstances.

The spear, she has broken it off her arm, Peridot starting to feel dizzy, it's getting harder and harder to avoid Lapis attack, she doesn't feel like standing at all, soon the blonde girl collapse once again, the wounds came worse. Peridot sucks in a deep breath. Damn it!. I really need to get out of here...

Unexpectedly, she feels it. Before she could do anything the fear has threatens to engulf her whole. There is some noise in her head which prevents her from being steady. Peridot realizes too late that she has underestimated the rapid scale of the shaking, her limbs are no longer taking directions from her mind.

As she falls, a quiet impact. That noise still echoes, though it would be lost, perhaps as far as the edges of the field. Lapis...she has done something to your mind, fight it, you have to be...

"Finally, you can't escape now. Demon."

Peridot then drifted into consciousness. And then black out. The world around her was a blur, and random images seemed to float aimlessly around in her thoughts. An outside force has brought the blonde girl drift apart in this world, she could feel somebody trying to carry her up, taking care of her, but she couldn't know.

Confusion blossomed in her heart and she knew that sooner or later she would need to wake up. To confront the one that causes in the face. But for now, she must lay down and hope for the best. A loud crash is the only thing she heard before being swallow by the dark.

White Palace - Nora's Reign

The silence of the whole room made her blood as cold as the autumnal air that crept through an open window. Then hurried footsteps and the squeak of a door brought her attention to notice. Nora head snapped in an instant from gazing out with unfocused eyes to the lady in front.

"Everything is set my Queen, all of them, the troops and also Crystal Gems - The Angel Rebellion are now in our hand, except for some minimum 'problems' but we will take care of that in no time" - Blue Pearl said, as she bowed to her with respect.

Stretching a smile, satisfied with the news, Nora replied, "I'm grateful for your report. Rise, we shall continue to finish what the Diamonds couldn't do, I trust you with our, 'little problems', don't let me down. By the way. Where's Pearl?"

"I think she said she will be at the ruin for a while"

Hmm, checking on Rose huh? What a loyal pet you have there Mother. She thought for a sec, "Let her be for now. I have other mission for you —", she clasps her hands, "Send 'her' instead. Time is very limit and I don't really want to waste waiting"

Blue Pearl startled. The surrounding is now made her feel suffocated. She could feel her heart throbbing inside her chest but she kept her calm and answered "I understood"

"Good, now leave, I need a rest"

She nodded in acknowledgment and followed the path that leads to the outside and stops when the door finally shut. Blue Pearl turned.

"She know you fail, Lapis" - Glaring at the girl who's leaning at the wall.

"She got back up, okay? Even I can't predict that. What should we do now?"

"Stand down at the moment until there's another order"

"Got it"

Without any other complaint, the blunette then walk out of the area. Anger made her skin felt like it was roasting. Next time...I won't let that demon get away on my watch again. Just you see, I'll definitely kill you.
