Peridot's mind began to spark erratically, she asked him, but the answer is the one thing about she cannot have. It's been a few days since she came to this "new world", everything is the same yet isn't. Stumbling and wandering around, she watched them but no one seemed to see her.

. . She needed to find out where Nora was and get out of this parallel universe. What if I can't...? What if they all gone? Would I be stuck here forever?

"Lapis...I hope you're alright" - she whispered under her mouth, though Peridot knows, even if Lapis couldn't hear it, she still wants the best to her love, as always.

Sacrifice...Who am I kidding, what am I gonna do, if you weren't here? Or even know who I am to you.

In her dream where there are lights, too many to count, she and Lapis dancing on an ocean too vast to envisage. Peridot wants to look at her, for the marvel she is. The light that comes from within is purer than gold, more light than air - each one a small piece of heaven. It was supposed to be the life after they got their wedding rings on, yet when she tried to reach out to it, the pure normal life, now got stain under nightmare darkness.

Every time, when we almost had it, every time something is gonna happen.

While Peridot was asleep the other night she got a strange feeling that her bed was a bit rocking. She woke up to find where the source of it, seems like it coming out of the box under.

MM? What is this...Meep M-rp-...something, I can't quite read it, the words were scratch...Wait, no Peridot, you can't touch someone stuff without their permission!

Suddenly, a vibration came from her pocket, it's Lapis's ring, glowing shine with it indigo color then bounce off to the box holes.

"Damn it !!"

As she tried to grab it but fail, it already in. With no other choice, Peridot has to remove the cover to find the little ring, one thing she didn't expect is...where it lies on, many sheets and papers, but only one that was connected to it. The blonde girl can't understand until she takes a look at the significant brown letter, it looks torn but looks like it's more important among the others.

[Help your mother K.] - Peridot wondered. Who is K? And why...this is, Lapis handwriting? Why Disten has this??!

She wouldn't want to believe. But the penmanship was truly matched Lapis's. Impossible... I have to find him now!.

Peridot grabbed the letter and the ring then hurried to the door, went up to find one of the people and asked where Disten was. They turned towards her but did not say a word, just stood there, shaking their heads and back to work.

All of a sudden a voice spoke, "If you're looking for that comma-hair vagabond, he left already", Connie asked as she saw Peridot.

"Where did he go?" - Catching her breath, Peridot still rushed for an answer

"Easy, I'm not sure but he will come back in a couple of days. Disten always disappears in time like this."

"Thanks, Connie, sorry to be rude, but I have to go find him"

"Hang on a second, you have an order not to leave this place, I can't let you set foot outside"

"But this is important, ...well a bit,..private. You gotta trust me, Connie, I'll be fine" - I want to tell you guys, but nobody would believe me

"Trust? I didn't even know you and you talking about that? Who are you? Why just so suddenly came here? Jasper might buy the crap but I don't"

Glare and doubt, it was all the brunette would do. There was no softness in that gaze. It was a look that conveyed a bubbling hatred. Disgust perhaps. Yet that what she give to a stranger.

"What got into you? Why are you so angry with me!?"

"Cut it Peridot, you and your kind are the one who causing chaos to this earth, not an angel nor demon. You and that woman, same fucking 'Hybrid' who killed my mother and imprison Steven..."

"Steven got imprison?... Connie, I—" - Peridot tried to explain but the word got stuck, she bent over as Connie's fist connect to her stomach, and drops of blood spattered her lap and knees. The girl stood there, watched soullessly as the pain silent Peridot apart.

"Even if Jasper didn't say anything. I know she will understand why I'm doing this...Forgive me, but I also got a friend to save."

White Palace

"Amethyst?" - said Blue Pearl. Shocking at the vision before her eyes. "Did you just...kill her? "

"Maybe. Yes" - Nora giggled, hand still twirling the purple gemstone.

"For what?! That act is such a waste. You of all the people knew that the Crystal Gems are our great source in this battle"

"Any source will drain out before it even begins, I hate to wait, so this is necessary. Here, take her to the chamber. And put the gem near my brother place"

"Don't tell me..."

"You read my mind huh. There's only 1 solution to end this. Or should I say...4"
