In the soft light of the moon and those humid air in the night, Peridot would tune down all the noises of what she's doing in her workshop then quietly return to the living room.
"Lapis?", seeing her lover sleeping soundlessly next to the couch, she shook her head. Is that's a pile of camp pinning heart disc?... Did you just watch all five season?
"Dummy, at least get to the bed first". She lifted Lapis into her arms, with comfort hand holding Lapis's back, carrying her to the bed. Lapis was also clung to Peridot warm body even in that condition.
As she put her down, tug the girl in her blanket, Peridot couldn't resist gazing over Lapis beautiful face. She looks like an angel even she's sleeping, what I am saying, she is an angel...Yeah..., my angel.
Giving the lovely girl a kiss on her forehead, Lapis smiled and turned to leave, yet she was held back by a loose grip at her wrist.
"Hmm? Sorry. Did I wake you?"
"Not really...I was up a little back when you carry me"
"Go back to sleep dear"
"Sleep with me"
"I can't, still working on something" - I have an idea for our wedding ring and you will love it, but I can't tell you now, it would ruin the surprise, and I love seeing the surprise on your face, those shining, sparkling eyes and that cute noise you sound when you laugh. Oh, how can I live without you.
Lapis then looked up at her and said, "Little things", that got Peridot confused.
"Hm?"
"The little things, there's nothing bigger, isn't it?" - she explained, and that's why I love you. Then slowly drift back to her sleep, yet mouth still mumbled, "Be back soon Peri..."
"I will" - she replied
The blonde girl gently brushed her finger across her lover cheek and then smiled. Notice the angel shivers as the wind past her body, Peridot then put her hands onto Lapis's waist, "Don't catch a cold".
As everything seems normal, yet she felt it. One blink, that's all it takes, lifting up her hand, those crimson liquid coming out of nowhere were all over the palm. The whole world in front of her eyes now turning with that same color as well.
"No-Argh". The headache, it happening again."God Damn it, NO". Her hands were shaking so badly, then, thing just shut, like a closing door, she was locked in that dark void again.
"Why is this keep coming back..."
Wherever she moved, that silence followed, always watching never fading. It lingered in the air, thick and heavy. Yet there's a glim at the end of it, suddenly Peridot feels a tap on her shoulder, a mystery voice, whisper in her ear.
《Help her, the little girl. You have to help her.》
The person hand then point up ahead, Peridot trails her eyes to it too, a shadow, crying in the dark, "Who are you-?", without any more words, the blonde girl was pulled out of the realm.

Reality awaits.
"Come on! Stop yelling!!" - a voice raise.
Peridot sat up quickly, sweating, still gasping for air, which makes the other startled. She's dreaming again, she knows, though her mind was back, but the eyes just fell plainly on the concrete floor, yet, she wasn't really looking. Peridot was watching her own pale hands. Where it was covered with scarlet blood, from her dream.
"She woke up, you could leave now" - the short brown-haired girl slightly exhales, ordered the doctor who was dressing her wounds. The Doc nodded then gather her stuff and left the room.
"Finally you're back. Your scream was really annoying by the way. You're lucky I found you, or else that damn 'angel' will send you all the way back to the nine circles of hell"
"I think I'm in one already...But, why I'm I here, where's everyone else?"
"Slowly, you're not in the best shape yet, rest a bit more"- the girl insisted, "Where are you come from anyway, I never see your face before"
"Connie. It's me, I-"
A loud thud come with a metal sound, the girl now has pointed her Pink Sword to Peridot.
"I'm pretty sure that I had never given you my name", her eyes look sharper than a razer, gazing down, "Now I'm wondering are you a spy or something, maybe I should kill you at this moment, prevent any mistake after- "
"Wait, don't" - Peridot gasped, holding her arm out, trying to cover herself.
Luckily for her, a star was on her side. The door swings open, "What's going on here? Drop your weapon Maheswaran", another person came in.
"Leader...but she could be a spy"
"Don't you know they hate demon? Crystal Gems has a spy as a demon? It's not a time to joke at this kind of question, plus you know the rules. No fighting inside the facility."
"But?!"
"I said drop your weapon!"
A small chuckle escaped before she could suppress, Connie seized back her sword then bowed to the tall woman in front. Peridot also lowered her hand, to have a closer look of the one who just saves her, but she realizes something else more. Why is this voice sound so familiar...sound like...
"Jasper?"
The tall woman, as her face, the one Peridot thought it was long lost before, Jasper, the one that she considers her sister, is right in front of her eyes. She quickly drops off the sheet that covers her body, came running as fast as she could and hug Jasper, "I thought that I lost you...", Peridot mumbled.
"You know her Jasper?" - Connie threw a confused look at her.
"No idea... But she seems very excited so just leave it"
"Alright, I had enough for today, I'm going to sleep. Have fun 'Reunited'"
"Night Connie" - As she waved for goodbye, Jasper turned to the blonde girl again. It's weird, even though we just met like...3 sec ago, I felt like I have known her for a really long time...this girl.
"What's your name was again little one?"
"Peridot"
She chuckled, "Come Peridot, we have a lot to talk about"
