A/N: Yeah, sorry about that, tight schedule, Exams again, yadda yadda... There are so many things that keep me from writing and I'm sad about that, *sobs.

***

You've gone, and this time for so long. For years, I still can't believe that I could see you again. You know, it is so hard to see the people that you used to know, walking, talking, smiling. Alive. Especially when they are your parent, in another world. It is so hard for me to turn and not see them in front of me. I wish that both of you were here just to tell things I couldn't tell you before; tell you that I love you, tell you that I'm proud you, tell you that I'll always listen to you, and most importantly, tell you that I miss you, both of you, a lot.

I could never forget about it. From that day, as I watched the ever-burning fire that blazed inside of our house. What once was beautiful cracked and wilted under the weight of the weightless fire. I could not breathe, nor could I hear my heart in my chest. The bright turned black and ascended in the air in dark gray plumes of darkness, and misery. Carrying the dreams and lives to another place far beyond the stars. No matter how much effort was given, the fire didn't cease its reign of terror. My home, my family, everything. The pain, and death it caused, and the dreams it stole.

As I continued to succumb to the endless torture.

To you, Peridot, Lapis mommy. I won't lose you guys anymore. Not this time.

The girl sat, her head slumped into her hands. Her mother rested a gentle hand on her shoulder. "What is it my love, what has you so sad today?" She almost cried as she spoke, the pain inside aching just to speak her mind.

"People are bad," she said. Hot tears flood down her face. Her mother then wrapped her in her arms and let her melt into it.

"My love, not all people are bad"

"They are! And they hate me, look at my wounds, all of the kids are throwing rocks at me as if they treat me like a monster!!"

"Nora, Nora, you're not a monster. Just, think of the people you actually know you, the good one. Don't you see they treated us differently?"

"Only some of them, and that isn't enough to live in this town, soon they will turn their back on us too"

"People afraid of what they can not understand, that's natural. We come from somewhere so far away, and with all the weird things that happen recently, so how can they not be? All people are good, honey, they just have to reach inside and find it. As do we, to help them see that they have nothing to worry about."

"I hope you're right mom", Nora settled down next to her mother, who gently put her into sleep.

There was something so warm, something that felt right, smelt right. She let her body sag, her muscles become loose. In that embrace, she felt her worries lost. Perhaps the hope had been there all along, but without some love, it was trapped, like crystals in a stone. Or Diamonds.

The stories, and the truth she needed... are gone in that night, forever.

Nora had been dreaming nightmare before, but never like this since her mother passed.

Humming, back to her world, sits a girl with velvety raven-haired in front of a grand shiny pitch black piano until she lifts the fall. The row of pure ivory keys marches into view.

They shimmer in the sparkling light; bright, beautiful. "Just like you, mother". The sound they create stirs wonders in her soul. Along with the wood that lines on the top of those keys, curling golden letter "V". That's one of a kind.

A full minute passes before she takes another breath before he realizes why the silent entranced him so. All those years in a single room, planning, waiting,... this time, when she can actually win, only then her mind would be free, that she would get rid of this melancholy.

Placing her hand on it, fingertip on the piano, swinging to the right, then to the left, every move is golden, the tones creating a wordless melody, something to help her drift away. Dancing on the keynotes; there's something carefree about the notes as they fall into the air. Nora leans on her hands, head down as her fingers continue to glide over the keys.

No rushing, no dragging, just a perfectly precise performance just dynamic and rhythmic stability.

Just then, Nora felt a hand brushing her hair lightly, she didn't pauses, still soaking in the music. And the music of the viola came quick, rather brilliant, the person has joined her, with his playful instrument.

As the notes hit his ears he was transfixed on the beauty of the fingers dancing on the ivory keys. The dark hair from the beautiful face moving with an unnatural wind. With each slight nod of her head, her spirit became almost an aura, combining with his vibrato, the harmony is like possessed, in a good way.

The crescendo spoke, Life. The whole room went away in the melody. Everything around was a blur, a transcending experience. As the last beautiful note hit and the resonance filled. A breath of air was both replaced with joy, a long relief.

"You did good, beautiful" - the person said

"You always that greasy?" - Nora replied with a scoff

"It's my charm"

"The score is already on the table. If convince me to change is why you here then don't bother. What is your actual reason to be in this alter universe, huh, Disten? Or should I say, Kyanite"

A big smirk appears on his face as "his" hair was slowly turned into deep indigo, some that have a frost spark. Lower the scarf that covers Kyanite mouth, she asked: "When did you find out that it was me?"

Nora looked her dead in the eye, grabbing Kyanite shirt's collar as she pulls her into a kiss. "You may change your look, but the scent never lies. You should be thanking me Kyanite, our meeting changed you, for the better"

"Better in what? Orphanage? You are one of the reasons that our family fell apart"

"I know you, Kyanite, back at when we first meet each other. How valiantly you have lived, how horribly you have suffered"

"When it comes to you. I'm getting hints of lying with undertones of manipulating, the 'up to no good' act of yours won't do this time. I will still continue to fight for my parents, and you, love, are going to lose"

"You are a dead ringer to your mothers"

"I'll kick your ass on their behalf, Nora"

"You lose as fast as you run"

"Try me, princess". Her knuckles joint, then spread out to make a sharp thin frosting knife, pointing at the one in front, "You see, when my parents' power combine together, it will create something much, much dangerous, deadly quick, and cold"
