"Sultana come to my house this instant I want to see you now," Kande said furiously. What could she have done this time around... She was on her way to the restaurant so she took another turn and drove to Kande's House. In less than an hour she arrived. She blew out an exhausting breath and went inside the house.
When she stepped inside the living room she was shocked when she saw Rakiya.
"Hajiya ina yini, I didn't know you were in town sannu da zuwa, welcome." Sultana said mildly.
"How will you know? that is not why we called you," Rakiya said heatedly. Sultana sucked her lip trying to hide her ire.
"So you won't greet me right?" Kande raved. Sultana greeted her politely. How was she supposed to have greeted her at that moment when she was being reprimanded. "Hamshakiya, mandniya, har kiba ma kikeyi, the reason why we called you here, is to let Sultan know that he is going to marry Manal, we know even if we talk to him he won't listen as he has turned a thick skull to us, so we want you to tell him yourself." Sultana's heart was beating rapidly. "Can I know the reason if I may ask?""So you are talking back at us now, kinma isa kenan, cikakiya, Sannu." Kande said hotly.
"Well since you refused to give me a grandchild and it is almost a year of your marriage, I plan to see my grandchildren soon."
"I know she is taking some contraceptives not to have children, kinzo gidan Sultan kiyi kullu wash rabbu haniam. ko? eat ye and drink ye to your satisfaction. you better go and have that implant removed."
"I don't have any implants in me Hajiya."
"Kai kai kai!! iko sai lilalahi, only God does wonders you have the guts to talk back at us, right? zakici ubanki wallahi, I will deal with you I swear." Kande said heatedly.
"It is either that, or she is denying my son his rights, I don't know what you are waiting for again, Sultan never listens to me since the day he got married to you, kodai kinsa min yaro na a cikin qwalba ne. or you have put my son inside a bottle right?"
"Subhanallah mama," Sultana said unbelievably. "Shut up, don't mama me, don't mama me!! it is either you persuade my son into marrying Manal since he listens to no one but you, or I will make your life a living hell. have you heard what I said, kin pice min daga nan ko kuwa leave my sight or else." Sultana was speechless unable to react to any of their cruel accusations. She stood up and walked out of the house on wobbly legs.
She rested her head on the steering wheel and silent sobs escaped her lips. What had she ever done to these women? why were they bent on making her life a living hell. She dried her eyes, and exhaled in and out. and drove straight to the restaurant.
She saw Hal taking orders to form some people. she sat on one of the seats and waved her hand up so Hal could see her. Hal waved back after taking the order.

"Hey, what happened you look pale?" "I do?" Sultana touched her face.
"Yeah, like you were beaten up, who is that let me go kick their ass." "Even if it were ya Imran?" Sultana inclined her eyebrows questionably.
"Will you ever change Sultana?" In the middle of their conversation, two good-looking guys walked up to their table. "Hello, what are two beautiful ladies doing here alone all by themselves?""Relaxing," Sultana replied. Hal ignored them she did not reply to their greetings. One of them was trying to talk to Sultana when she cut she cut him off. "Bawan Allah ni matan aure ce. servant of God I am a married woman."
