Josh POV

I just got a call from Lexy. it's about midday I told her I am gunna go pick up Sam from Mia and speak to her about the adoption before going over. I walked up Mia's drive and asked to speak to her. She invited me in.

"Where's your slutty girllfriend today?" Mia spat as Sammy ran over to me I picked her up.

"Do not speak about Lexy like that!"

"what are you? My mother!"

"Mia we will not do this in front of Sammy."

"Samantha is fine! Now what do you want?" We were interrupted by Sammy.

"Daddy why is she calling me Samantha? My name is Sammy isn't it Daddy?"

"Yes honey you're right you're name is Sammy..." I turned back to Mia.

"... anyway Mia I was wondering if seen as you hardly see your daughter if Lexy could adopt her?"

"I wanna meet her properly first... call her. If she's serious about this she'll come!" I called Lexy who agreed to come and she was round in five minutes flat.

"Mumma!" Sammy yelled in excitement running up and bouncing on her lap.

"hey baby girl." She sounded shaken. Traumatised.

"Can we speak without Samantha being present?" Mia requested. I lead Sammy out of the room.

Lexy POV:

 Josh left the room with Sammy.

"Why do you want to adopt her? She's not your fucking kid!" She spat clearly drunk.

"She might not be my 'fucking' kid but i love her far more than you do if you're even willing to give her up she is a fucking brilliant child and if you had her more you'd see that. I just want to be there for her and support her and I promise I will never let her down or hurt her or let anyone else hurt her. She will be loved as though she is my own."

"Fine fucking adopt her then."

"I intend to we just need you to sign the papers to give up your rights." Mia signed the papers and chucked them at me. I went to leave but turned in my tracks.

"Oh and Mia... sober up!" I retaliated before walking out.

"Come on Josh we got what we wanted lets go!" I demanded Sammy ran to me.

"Bye bye Mia." She giggled "Can we go home Mumma?"

"Yeah baby we are going to go home now okay." I responded picking her up. We walked out to the car.

"Here give me the keys let me drive."

"Josh I'm fine."

"Okay I'll get Sam in the car."

Once everyone was in the car we drove off. "What is up with you today?" Josh asked.

"Nothing!" I snapped.

"Clearly you're upset so just tell me Lex."

"I'm fine okay?" I shouted. I saw Sammy shrink back in her seat.

"Oh baby girl Mumma didn't mean to shout I've just had a really bad day okay I'm sorry for scaring you honey." My voice was shaking as I spoke.

"When we get home we'll talk okay?" Josh said.

"Actually I need to go to Auntie Dallys but we can talk there."

"Oh okay then." We pulled up at Dallys.

"Hey georgous. Hey Josh. Hey Sammy honey come on in." Dallas smiled shutting the door behind us.

"Dal can you go play with Sammy I havent had a chance to talk to J yet."

"Sure come on princess..." Dallas smiled at Sam and took her outside.

"So what's up babe?"

"LJ raped me the night of the party. That's what I called about earlier." Josh wrapped me inhis arms.

"Oh babe I'm so sorry..."

"It's fine his sister Zoey helped me report him and Mum has taken time off work and Maddie and Gia are in Dallas."

"Well I wanna be there for you too."

"I know babe... I came over here because Dally knows and could keep an eye on Sam.

"two months later.*

Josh and Sam having been living with me and Mum and Gia is comming home today. I sat down with Josh after I realised something major.

"J babe I haven't been on for two months."

"What do you mean?"

"My period I haven't had one for two months... I think I'm pregnant..."

"If he's made you pregnant I swear to god..."

"J the thing is I've always said I'd keep the baby if I got pregnant because I hate abortions and I don't want it feeling unloved if we give it up."

"I'll support you babe no matter what I'll love this baby like it's my own."

"Thanks J but I don't even know if I'm pregnant yet."

"Well when you find out the first people you need to tell are your Mum and Dallas."

"I know but they'll kill me."

"No babe they'll understand I promise."
