Chapter 9

Josh POV:

Lexy went completely out of it. "What's happening to her!?" I yelled at the nurses

"Please I know you are worried about Alexa but we need to get these babies outta her and then we can make sure your girlfriend is okay."

Lexy POV:

The next thing I remember is coming round I gathered I was in hospital and all I could hear were two little cries. "My babies! Are my bubba's okay?" I asked searching frantically for Josh and my babies.

"They are fine babe." Josh emerged carrying my two babies in his arms.

"Honey meet our babies." He handed me one of them and I instantly felt love for it. I didn't care that the little munchkin in my arms was not Josh's child, as long as they were healthy and Josh and Sammy were Happy that is all I cared about.

"This is Paige." He said as I held the little girl in my arms before making room for my other baby.

"And this is Ryder-Cecil." Josh handed me our little boy. I looked up at him.

"Ryder-Cecil?"

"Yeah I know how much you loved your biological Grandad so I thought we could have the best of both worlds."

"Where is Mum,Gia and Sammy?"

"Your Mum went to go get Gia from school before you gave birth. I can call her and get her to bring the girls up."

"would you babe."

"Sure"

*Skip a few years*

Josh, Sammy, the twins and I moved to England. We decided to make the move because Josh had got a very highly paid job in England so it made sense to move. It meant leaving our family behind but we were okay with that as Mum and Gia fly out and stay for a few weeks at a time and Josh's Mum flys out once or twice a month.

Paige and Ryder are three and Sammy is now eight. I adopted Sammy and because LJ had been locked up and had been charged with rape Josh was able to adopt Paige and Ryder without LJ's concent.

I work as an actress for Eastenders playing Lauren Branning's long lost twin sister. I love my job because I can take the children with me. It is Monday morning and I am getting the kids up. I go into Sammy's room first.

"Sammy bubba wake up it's school time." I whispered stroking her hair as she turned to face me her eyes still closed whining sleepily.

"Honey wake up." I whispered again sliding on the bed next to her and putting my arm around her.

"Mumma?" Sammy murmured.

"Morning baby." I smiled down at her. She snuggled into me breathing in my scent. I hugged her back before gently removing myself from her bed and opening the curtians.

"Bright Mumma!" Sammy complained sitting up and rubbing her eyes.

"I'm sorry Sammy... come on love get ready for school okay." I appologised before giving her a kiss on the head and leaving to go into Paige's room.

"Paigey wake up darling." I whisper. Paige stretches and her eyes shoot open.

"Morning Paigey baby."

"Mummyyyyyy!" Paige lysps sitting up and signalling for a cuddle. I pick her up and twirl her around before going to her wardrobe.

"What do you want to wear honey?" Paige picked out a cute red top with a black heart on the front and some denim jeans. I got her out some underwear and began to strip her of her PJs.
