Don't you ever just want to stand out in the rain? Not when you have things to do or places to be, rain then is just plain inconvenient. But, when you have no-where to be, don't you just want to stand there and feel every single drop collide with your skin. There is just something, something that is so wildly free about letting the rain soak your skin, and it is amazing. That brief and cold feeling of freedom. The feeling of calm that overcomes you as a rain drop rolls down your neck, your hair sticking to your face but by choice and you can't help but blissfully smile at how content you have suddenly become. I stood in the rain today, it was beautiful, it was calming, it was peaceful and for a moment I was free. I was free of my problems, my mind was just blank, as if all my troubles were just washed away by the rain. My very favourite thing about standing out in the rain though is, while you're out there, and while you are soaking your skin in freedom, the very best thing about when you just stand in the rain for no reason at all, is that no-one can see you cry.
