There stood this house. Not a beautiful, elegant house full of life and love, no, this house was old, derelict and quiet. I stand corrected. It was beautiful. The kind of beauty that breaks your heart. The front door, that was once a welcoming cherry oak, now stood slanted, being held up by just one hinge. It just looked, so sad. It just hanging there wonky, banging gently against the rotting door frame in the breeze. To the right, the window, that big bay window whose from was once the same shade of cherry as the door, no longer held its glass. Only jagged pieces that had not yet fallout out of the rotting frame remained. Who knew glass could look as though it was clinging on for dear life. The roof of this room had caved in at some point of the years and littered the floor with debris. There in the far corner of the room, a hat stand stood crookedly, oozing the memories that time had forgotten.
