"I really don't want him to leave the band," I sighed as I spoke to Amy and Betty while having breakfast.

"Dude," Amy replied, "he won't. As much as I know, they have all signed a 7 years contract,"

"But," I argued, "yesterday he was determined on doing so,"

"Chill, he won't. He was just worked up," Amy replied.

"Calum, though," Betty raised her eyebrow and ate a piece of her pancake.

"What an asshole," Amy muttered.

"He was quite the suspect," Betty said as she stuffed her face with more food, "I mean, it was stupid of us to not take a guess at Calum,"

"How?" I asked.

"See, you know that you write stuff in your phone's notes shizzle. Who else knew about it? Michael and Calum. Michael made it very obvious that it wasn't him because why would he want people to know about his personal life? Calum, on the other hand, was being very weird and annoying and stupid," She explained.

"We did not doubt him because we trusted him," Amy said.

"Exactly," I replied, "I don't ever wanna see him again,"

"None of us want to," Amy sighed, "Lola has been acting like your best friend lately?" Amy winked.

Lola and Amy still didn't get along. I thought Amy was just a little stubborn to accept that Lola had really changed and mostly jealous because Lola was close to Michael and they hung out a lot and since me and Michael were already together, it meant I would see a lot of Lola, too. But I knew Amy had nothing personal against Lola, Amy was too nice for that.

"I think she's been acting like my best friend, and, which, for a matter of fact - she is," Michael interrupted us and sat on a chair next to me.

"Yeah, whatever," Amy rolled her eyes.

Michael winked at me and quickly pecked my lips, "your prayers worked," he said.

"What?" I asked.

"I can't just quit the band," he sighed.

"Told ya!" Amy smirked, "Its not a game, you know?"

"Yeah, yeah," Michael rolled his eyes, "Calum was apologizing to me, and Ashton wants to apologize to you,"

"Calum doesn't want to apologize to me?" I asked darkly.

"Ashton isn't getting to talk to anyone!" Betty snapped.

"I don't know," Michael answered me, "he doesn't want to face you. Betty, why don't you and Ashton make up already?"

"Doesn't want to face me," I said bitterly, "What did you say, anyway?"

"I don't want a relationship with someone who doesn't like my friends," Betty replied.

"I told him how it was obviously not okay," Michael then turned to Betty, "Well, you and Emizie weren't technically friends back then,"

"Right. Obviously." I said, "Its not okay!"

"Whatever!" Betty snapped, "I don't like it when he just takes a jab at my friends for whatever reason!"

"I feel so involved," Amy scoffed.

"Sorry," the three of us said together.

"Yeah, okay," Amy said, "Emizie, your birthday is like in two weeks!"

"I don't want to celebrate it," I sighed.

"Shut up," Betty said, "We'll make sure you do. Are you going to meet your mom and dad this week?"

"I think so," I replied and held Michael's hand as it was an emotional topic for me, "Mom needs me right now. Like, she's not really being strong about this situation,"

"I'll come with you," Michael said.

"What? No!" I replied instantly, "You can't miss college!"

"So, its decided," he cleared his throat, "I'm coming with you,"

I sighed in defeat. As it is, I wouldn't be able to argue with Michael because he cared so much about me. It was almost impossible for anyone, including me, to stop him from doing something for me.

"And, Emizie," Betty said, "you think of this as a milestone, as a huge part of your life that you’d look back on once you’re old and grey and bedridden. But it’s not. It won’t really matter. You’ll be with the same people you don’t necessarily hate, but don’t like either. You’ll meet people you’d learn to hate. It’s sad because college's becoming more synonymous to social life than education," She sighed.

"But," she continued after taking a sip of her juice, "this won't really matter to you after some point of time like it is right now, because there’s only your knees buckling right now, heart thumping, mind racing. Your senses are heightened and everything seems zoomed in. So burn that magnifying glass and look at the bigger picture.” She completed.

"Oh god," I said, "I fucking missed you and your advises so much,"

"I'm sorry for being a bitch last year," she said.

"Its all forgiven. I'm sorry for blowing up on you, too." I replied.

"Awwww," Amy said, "it doesn't have to be really awkward for me now,"

I chuckled, "Yeah,"

I looked over at Michael and smiled at how he was looking at me with so much love and affection, maybe I could never be able to explain in words how much I loved it when he looked at me that way. Maybe Betty was right. All of this wouldn't matter to me in some time. And maybe Calum's hurting just like I am. Or maybe he’s so careless and at peace, that I’m feeling all the pain for the both of us. Whatever it is, I know that it will pass.

Because everything is okay in the end and if it's not okay - then, its still not the end.
