Chapter 16.5: Butterfly Thoughts

[JUNE's POV]

The games went on and on. Nakaka-anim na panalo na kami and hopefully is leading the scores. And guess what? Ako na yung laging sinasama nila Emilia instead na si Sabrina. Nakakapagod mga bes WOOOH! Pero masaya naman, lalo na pag nananalo kami!

Now's the time para makapagpahinga ang lahat, well maliban dun sa mga mag-iintermission number~ Nagpaalam si Junhui at Nathaniel sa amin since kasali daw sila sa intermissions kaya eto kaming tatlong babae naiwang kumakain by the stairs pfft.

"Ahmm, Miss June? Ilang laro nalang po ba?" biglang pagtanong ni Sabrina sa akin kaya napatingin ako sa kanya.

"As far as I know mga tatlo nalang and please, kahit June nalang itawag mo sa akin," I answered her with a smile at saka sumubo ulit nung sandwich. This is theirs actually! Pfft.

Maya-maya pa ay nagsimula na ung ibang teachers or students sa intermission numbers. Two teachers sang, a group of students danced and it's finally Junhui and Nathaniel's turn!

Oh, so they'll play instruments? "You know there's someone here who can accompany you," bigla kong naalala yung sinabi sa akin kahapon ni Daphne nung nakita kong inassemble ni Junhui yung keyboard. And oh! Nathaniel will be playing the guitar! Nice!

So wait... Kakanta din sila for sure? Oh well! Looking forward to these two!

Pinakilala muna sila nung MC at pinalakpakan ng mga tao dito bago sila magsimula. Nagtinginan muna silang mag-ama at nangitian bago nila sinimulan ang pagtugtog ng kanilang instrumentong hawak.

The keyboard played first then for a few more keys Nathaniel started strumming. [A/N Isipin niyo nalang Butterfly ng BTS tutugtugin nila hehe. Yung Prologue version nun ah XD and this is the translated lyrics]

They both continued performing at ako? Pssh tulala lang dito. LIKE BRUH THESE TWO!! Such wonderful voices :(

"Will you stay here? Will you promise me?" somehow... The song... It's getting me emotional woah.

"If I touch you will you fly away? I'm scared," every single lyrics of the song... It just left me so emotional.

"Miss June, are you alright?" I heard Emilia calling to me kaya naman napatingin ako sa kanya.

"Uh... Umiiyak ka kasi Mi-- June..." sabi ni Sabrina sabay abot sa akin ng tissue. Oh wow wait, I got over emotional? Like seriously, over a song I just heard for the first time? Woah.

"Uhm... Excuse me mag-babanyo lang ako," I said and left the gym not finishing their whole performance. I wiped my tears as I walked out.

I went to the nearest comfort room kaso madaming tao so I decided to go sa banyo dun sa katabing building. Bukas naman yun for sure.

As soon as I arrived tinignan ko agad sarili ko sa salamin. Oh gosh my eyes are really red .__. Bakit ako naiyak dun hayf it's just a song isn't it?

"Will you stay here? Will you promise me?" suddenly the lyrics just started to slip out of my mouth so easily. Namemorize ko agad yun? What? How?

"If I touch you will you fly away? I'm scared," these are the exact same words earlier! Well... I think it is but...

"Butterfly, you're like a butterfly" what is this song? I haven't heard this yet since I lived in Greece and yo! I still completely feel like I still don't remember anything.
