Chapter 30: The Truth Untold

After June passing out, she was rushed into the nearest hospital and Seth almost lost his shits cause suddenly a big problem came out from one of their biggest branch in Bangkok. He didn't know what to do first, be there for his so-called-wife or get a hold of the company's problem.

In the end, he chose his wife first. Inintay niyang maging stable ang lagay ni June before he head back to the company. Doctor said June's just over fatigue and needs to rest for a while. Seth made his assistant, Charles, look after June first.

As June was unconsciously resting, she's back with those dreams again. Those blurred visions, those voices, that same event. Everything was slowly getting clearer.

Everything was jumbled up, June's like having a nightmare. She's having cold sweats, she's breathing heavily and her heart beats so fast. Charles just entered June's room again after taking a call from Seth.

As soon as he saw June's behavior, he immediately called out to doctors and nurses. They rushed in and helped June calm down.

After the doctor calmed her down, June's dream calmed down too. This time, it's a different scene.

It was dark, she's not seeing anything but she knows she's being lead by someone who has a deep voice, and that was Wonwoo. They stopped from walking and she heard Wonwoo opened the door.

As they entered, she felt like she kicked a balloon on the floor. They once again stopped walking, and Wonwoo removed her blindfold. She saw someone standing in front of her, so she looked up to see who it was. Suddenly everything was clear. June's not having any blurred visions anymore.

It's all clear to her now.

Going back to reality, June opened her eyes and realized she was at the hospital. Charles came to her and asked if she's fine. June just let out a deep sigh and closed her eyes again, a tear then dropped from her eyes. Charles called out the doctor to check her out and hopefully said that June is now in a very stable condition.

"Charles..." June suddenly called out in the middle of her meal. Binaba niya ang kutsarang hawak niya at tinignan lang si Charles. He gave her naman a confused look.

"Charles... By any chance... Do you know who I really am?" June asked. Charles was stunned and did not know what to answer, but he sure knows himself everything about her already.

"W-what are you talking about?"

"Hindi ako si June right? I'm not June Cyril Oh... Charles, please be honest with me... This is just gonna be a conversation between you and me... Wag ka matakot please... Tell me the truth, Charles..." she said as a tear rolled down her eyes again.

He heaved a deep sigh as he closed his eyes. And when he opened them again he asked, "Okay. Anong gusto mong malaman?"

"Lahat lahat, Charles. Kung sino talaga ako, kung paano ako napunta dito... At bakit niyo ako niloko?"

"This is gonna be a very long story, are you sure?" Charles asked again.

"Please just tell me the truth." Charles heaved a deep sigh and started to talk.

"I guess it's time for you to know then? First of all... I'm really terribly sorry for agreeing with Seth on this plan...

September 15, 2012... It was just a fine morning not until we heard a loud sound coming from our fields. Akala namin may sumabog na machine but it only turned out to be a part of a plane that exploded.

Yes, that was your seat. May kasama ka pa actually, but she was obviously dead at that time but you, you just had large wounds but hindi siya ganon kalala. You were still alive at that time so we rescued you by ourselves.

We did not inform anyone about you. Apparently, nalaman yung sa katabi mo on the plane but they never knew you also fell with her.

Seth took care of you. He had his family doctor, which is also close to him, treat you secretly. And based on your examinations, you seem to have lost all your memories.

By that information, Seth took it as a chance. A chance to get Mia, a perfect family she deserves. Mia... Mia's mom, Cyril, died as soon as she got delivered. Seth almost went insane but for the sake of Mia, he went back to his senses. Just a few weeks after her death, you came. Naisipan ni Seth na baka ikaw ang anghel na binigay ni Cyril for him to recover and also give Mia a mother.

He took chance of your amnesia and molded you to someone like Cyril. At naging successful naman ang plano niya hindi ba? He made you believe that you are his wife and the mother of his child. But June... it didn't took that long before he fell in love with you. Cyril was out of his mind and heart and you... actually replaced her already...

Lahat ng pinadama sayong pagmamahal ni Seth? Those affections? All of them were real already... as for your real identity, yes you are Catherine" Charles said and stood up from his seat and went to his bag na nasa couch. He took out an envelope, went back to his seat and handed it over to June... I mean Catherine.

"These are all your documents. Ngayon ngayon ko lang din nalaman ang lahat nang yan nung umuwi dito si Seth mula Pilipinas at kayo ni Mia ay naiwan don. He made me research about the real you and there! That's all the information I got,"

Charles explained everything to her and answered every question Rin would ask him.

After quite a discussion, Rin closed her eyes and let her tears flow out there. Charles kept apologizing for what happened in the past pero syempre sabi lang ni Rin na wala siyang dapat ika-sorry.

"Charles... I honestly don't remember anything from my past but alam ko na ang lahat ngayon. Please, I have a favor to ask... Don't tell Seth... Whatever happens, act as if you don't know anything okay?" sabi ni Rin.

"Yes, I will... And again, I'm really sorry."

A few more weeks have passed and as Rin said, they both acted like they both know nothing at all. Rin hasn't come up with a plan yet, ayaw niya rin naman kasing masaktan si Mia sa gagawin niya if ever kasi napalapit na rin naman sa kanya yung bata. She haven't called out Jaehyun too. Ilang beses niya nang naisip pero hindi niya nagawang i-contact si Jaehyun.

Not until one day, Rin finally had come up with a plan. Since she was obviously stressed out last time, she thought of having a week vacation with her closest friend there in Greece, Bryan. Fortunately, Seth clicked the bait and let Rin calm her mind and soul for a week. Seth even insisted going with them but Rin just convinced him to stay for the company at sinunod niya naman iyon.

She's really going on an out-of-town vacation with Bryan but when they're about to go home, they'll go on separate ways and Rin will immediately fly back to the Philippines.

This time, she finally called out Jaehyun. She asked him to help her out and fly her back to the Philippines.

At dahil mayaman na mayaman na si Jaehyun, he flew from Italy to Greece para sunduin si Rin and have his private plane fly them back to the Philippines.

And just as planned, everything went in what way Rin wanted. Hindi bale na daw na konti yung damit na dala niya, basta ang importante ay makauwi na siya. She also threw away her phone, just in case Seth would track her down, he never will. She just hopes he wouldn't find her too soon.

Jaehyun expected Rin gained back her memories pero pinaliwanag nalang lahat ni Rin kay Jae na alam niya na ang lahat and even if she still can't remember anything, her emotions were true and seems as if she's regained her memories.

And that's it. Catherine is back! Back in the Philippines! And back in her life.
