Daddy Problems...

~Tayla's POV~

It was night now and I was still with Orian. We wanted to spend some more time together, that and he wasnt to keen on the idea of leaving my side since he still wasnt sure of my condition. When I head home again I will use some of my dad special treatment, it should only take a few days for it to heal the scars.

Right now me and Orian were on a hill watching the night sky on the grass. The two of us enjoying the peace and quiet, star gazing.

Two shooting stars shot across the sky. I sigh happily with content "beautiful, isn't it?" I say mostly to myself but Orian hums in response.

"Yeah ... beautiful" what I didnt know was when Orian said beautiful was when he looked at me, and that he was saying I was beautiful.

"Do you ever think there is other life out thier orian?"

Orian stiffens ... maybe it was a stupid question.

"Well, i uh, yeah ... maybe" he says, he is so sweet when hes all choked up. "Uh what about you?"

I smile "I have no doubt" I pit my hands under my head, making sure not to hurt my wrists.

"Oh really?" Orian says smirking and propping himself on his elbow and looks at me.

"Mhm, I mean come on, think about it" i say putting my right hand out and gesturing to the sky "the universe is HUGE, earth cant be the only planet out their with life. Maybe not alien life, but there could be human life out there on another planet. But I love to think there is another species out there..." I put my hand back down and smile up at the sky.

~Optimus' POV~

I hated this, lying to Tayla. I wanted to just tell her who i was, what I am, SHOW HER in fact.

But I couldnt... i would be putting her life at risk.

"Yeah ... I liked to think so too" was all I said. Looking back up to the night sky.

[TIME SKIP]

*Morning school*
I woke up and got read for school, my cuts were healing up nicely.

I said good bye to Chance, Roscoe and DeSoto before getting on my motorbike and heading into school.

I was thinking over the past few days .... how I have gotten close to Miko, Raf and Jack .... and Orian.

I couldnt let this go on... my father would notice things are different when he comes back and I couldnt allow it. I got at school just in time. Miko, Raf and Jack headed over to me. But I walked another way.

I felt awful.

The whole day i ignored them or stayed away from them...

After school I quickly ran to my motorbike and took off. Failing to notice that Orians truck was parked in the school grounds.

~At Autobot base~

~Optimus' POV~

"Miko, Raf, Jack" they look at me a bit sad. "Do you know what is going on with Tayla?" I asked.

"No idea Optimus" jack says

"We have been trying to talk to her but she just-" Raf says not able to find the right word

"Shuts us out" says Miko

I hum in thought, something wasnt right...

This avoiding continued the next day... and the day after that, and the day after that.

I decided I should keep an eye on Tayla, she seemed sad when ever I saw her, or on her guard. I was confused, she seemed so relaxed and layed out where ever I saw her.

Today was a Friday, and the last day for the kids until Monday...

Everyone else had left.

I watched as I saw Tayla come out of school, but instead of going straight on her bike, she sat on the cement slab railing next to the stairs. She brought her legs up and hugged them.

This is when I noticed the kids coming out, they looks to Tayla before coming over to her.

~Tayla's POV~

I was in a state of depression, here i was just beginning to feel like 'hey these guys are my friends' I am, hit with reality.

"Uh Tayla? Are you okay?" I stiffen at the voice of Raf. I look to them and they looked as sad and worried as I was. "Did we do something wrong?"

My heart was crushed, not only was I avoiding them, but they fought it was their fault. "N-no! It's nothing like that, I just" i sigh heavily "its ... complicated but, maybe it would be best if we were not friends anymore..."

I felt a thousand knifes stab into my heart. I looked up and their expressions where shocked, sad and not understanding.

"T-tayla? Why? What's wrong? I thought we were cool now?" Jack says shocked.

"Guys, it's not you, please believe me I-i cant" my voice started breaking.

Then I heard the familiar engines. I heard the guys gasp and I turn my head to the front to see the familiar green and black cars.

"M.E.C.H?!" Jack and Miko asked shocked.

I look back at them shocked that they two, knew these guys... knowing these guys only ment bad news.

I heard a car door and turned around just hearing Raf gulp and whisper to the others scared.

"S-Silas? What is he doing here?!" He whisper shouts.

I look back to him with a raised eye brow "you know my father?"

"Tayla!" I freeze. Then turn around to see my dad storming over towards me.

I sigh a sad and defeated sigh. Before looking to the others at the corner of my eye to see their shocked faces.

"You guys... should go" I say as I push off where I was sitting and walking over to my dad.

They ran away, but I failed to notice that they just ran behind a corner and were watching the whole thing.

"Who were they?" My dad says in a low but angry voice.

"No one, they were just asking for directions" i lie smoothly but my father kept pushing it.

"Really? Because it seemed to me you were have a conversation... a friendly, friend converstaion" I didnt dare look up to him until now, I gave him the same deadly glare he was giving me

"Dont think so little of me father, I know the rules"

He didnt like that one bit, he growled dangerously.

"For your sake Tayla, that better be true" he must of noticed my bandages on my wrists because he then snatched one of my wrists in his hand, in a death grip. I wince and start clawing at his hand. He the  brings his face close to my ear "Or I'll take more then just your eye..." he then releases my wrist harshly and I bring it close to my body.

It was then when i looked over to the corner and widen my eyes with fear when I saw the others looking at me with scared, shocked faces. My world felt like it shattered right then and there.

My father growls with frustration and anger "come on!" My father shouted, realizing I wasnt following him. The sudden shouting caused me to flinch and look in his direction bring my head down a bit. I give one last glance to the others who also had seemed to flinch at the sudden out burst, before putting my hand to my side and getting in the car.

~Optimus' POV~
My team and I were parked in the school car park, pure shock and horror of what just played out.

I cant believe it... Tayla, the one who I had fallen for, the one who I would lay down my life for, was the daughter of our second biggest enemy...
