Chapter 17

*Kelsey's P.O.V.*

Jason:"Alright come on." He said moitening me to stand up.

Me:"We're starting now?" I asked looking at Lucas then at Jason.

Jason:"Yes now. Now come on." He pulled at my hand.

Me:"But I don't even have any work out clothes here."

Lucas:"Jenifer will let you borrow some of hers." He said and I looked at Jenifer who looked annoyed.

Me:"No its fine. I don't want to bother her either-"

Max:"You're not gonna bother her. She's not like that. Right Jen?" He asked looking at his sister with a loving gaze. She looked back at him and smiled. They have a strong sibling relationship. Just like me and Damien.

Jason:"Alright then go and hurry." I nodded and followed Jenifer out of the meeting room and into her room which was actually really nice.

I looked around admiring everything that was around me and on the walls.

Jenifer:"Come on I'll show you where my work out clothes are and you can choose which every you like." She said quietly and walking into the closet where I followed.

I don't know why but I just had the urge to ask her what I'm about to ask her now and I hope she won't flip.

Me:"Why do you hate me?" I asked and she stopped dead in her tracks and looked at me surprised.

Jenifer:"What?"

Me:"Why do you hate me?" I asked once again.

Jenifer:"I-I....I don't hate you." She sighed and flopped down on one of the baggy things where you can sit to relax. I went over and sat down on the other one.

Me:"You don't?" I asked and she shook her head.

Jenifer:"I really don't. I actually like you. You're really nice and pretty. There's nothing not to like about you. It's just....." She trailed of. To be honest I wasn't surprised at all. I mean I know she stills likes Justin....

Me:"Justin...." I finished for her and she looked at me without saying anything.

Jenifer:"I'm sorry I just can't help but feel jealousy when ever I see you guys together." She admitted.

Me:"You don't have to be sorry. I mean you guys have history together  and you still love him. I'm not getting mad because I'm not gonna deny your feelings towards Justin. The heart wants what it wants." I shrugged and she smiled.

Jenifer:"See? You're not even mad even though I'm madly in love with your boyfriend." She said and we laughed.

Me:"I mean Justin is a great guy so no surprise." I chuckled.

Jenifer:"Yeah. He's great. But it doesn't help the fact that he cheated." She said now looking gloomy.

Me:"Jenifer?" I called out and she looked at me.

Me:"Did you ever let him explain? Did you ever give him a chance to tell you what really happened?" I asked and she looked like she was in deep thought.

Jenifer:"No...."

Me:"You should have. He told me everything about how you guys were in school and how much he loved you. Yes he did tell me about you guys. He told me everything. From where you met, about Drew and how he kidnapped you and how the biggest slut in the school tricked him." I said but she didn't say anything.

Jenifer:"Even if you're right. It's too late. He doesn't love me. He's with you."

Me:"Can I tell you a secret?" I whispered and she looked at me smiling and I actually felt like I could trust her with this.
