ALEXANDRA
~ ~ ~Alexy followed Paul leading her to his office. A surprise from Paul?
She wondered what is was exactly, with Paul you would barely know what to expect. She knew that this case would be no child's play.
She could already imagine herself disfigured at one side of her face, quite terrifying and cool at the same time. She could bet that she would look even finer than the other detectives that called her,
"Four eyes"
Finally they both entered his office. She was surprised to see a guy standing waiting for them patiently, in front of Paul's desk.
He was unbelievable handsome, with blue brown eyes. Gorgeous black spiky hair. With a sexy shaped pink lips.
And damn he was tall.
"Alexy this is your new partner, also a new detective in the station." Paul said, then with that he left the office.
Alexy blinked several times hardly believing her eyes.
He looked like a model that just jumped out of one of those play boy's magazine.
"My name is Alexy hills." she said, sounding as nervous as ever. Then he smiled revealing his perfect teeth.
"I know, I have heard a lot about you." he said. "I am Tyler... Tyler Smuffwoods."
they both exchanged hands, equally transfixed.
There was something about him, something so different from other guys she had met. She instantly found herself lost in his eyes.
"Nice to meet you... well, I guess you and I would have to share my office for a while. This building doesn't have much space." Alexy said, then walked out of the office leading Tyler to her own office. Just right besides Detective Pauls.
She opened the door then stepped aside for him to pass, before she slowly closed the door behind her.
She switched on the light, and put on the standing fan. Tyler pulled a sit from the corner of the office than put it right beside hers.
Alexy smiled and she could swear she saw him smile too as she sat then turned on her computer.
"So, what are we looking for?"
Tyler asked.
"Not exactly what are we looking for, it's who?" Alexy corrected calmly. She was about to speak when to her surprise Tyler spoke.
"Paul told me you are going to be on the field this night." he sighed, then continued.
"I am so sorry but I can't be at the station this nights... I kind of have a date."
Just what I needed. She thought. A hot dating partner.
She felt sad, her mom had always said.
"Guys like that are always within your grasp but beyond your reach."
her mother had warned her thousands of times but she always prayed that she could prove her wrong.
