ALEXANDRA
~ ~ ~

Alexandra laid on the bed feeling a sudden dark ore around her. What was going on?

She tried hard to lift her eyes open but she failed, she couldn't help but groan in the effort of doing so.

She was alone, she could feel it.

Where the hell did Torah and Ray go? she wondered. The wind rushed past the window giving her a bizarre feeling, it was opened.

She sat up breathing hard, when she finally opened her eyes. Something was wrong.

She was too weak.

Luckily able to role herself to her feet, she stood bare footed, feeling the cold of the floor board as it creaked under her foot each step she took.

Wait.

She wasn't alone. She could feel the presence of someone. Of something. Which was defiantly not Ray or Torah.

Her instincts clicked in fast, with a quick move she hurled herself out of the window, landing on her feet.

What the hell just happened?

That wasn't something she would have done thinking straight, nevertheless she didn't have the time to think about it before, she sprinted in the forest ahead of her. Running like a wild animal.

It was hard to see, because the moon was over at the far end of the horizon. Yes, something was coming after her. running faster than any animal.

Before she could react, she was whacked in the face by something hard.

She fell to the floor in pain, holding unto her knee for support. She heard a snarl. Looking up to see who or what it was, she saw she was surrounded.

By humans, not entirely.

She had to run for it or just surrender and end up dead.

In a quick dirty motion, she grabbed a handful of sand and tossed it at the person standing in front of her. She heard a groan and knew it was her only chance.

An unfamiliar feeling pushed her to jump and as she did, Alexy found herself flying higher than she could have ever imagined.

Her eyes busted open in surprise and awe, where did this strength come from.

"Stop!"

She yelled, as she saw she was about to crash into a large tree but it was already too late to slow down. She was without control.

A loud shriek escaped her mouth as she felt the worst pain she had ever felt in her life as she was slammed hard against the tree.

She blanked out.

Her muscles ached so bad as she tried to move her legs and her arms.

It was like she had been in the same position for hours. Her throat was perched dry, from too much screaming.

Once again, she wondered where on earth she was. her wrists were aching as hell, realizing she was chained. The cold metal on her wrists gave her an irritating feeling.

Her chest felt like a thousand stones had been put inside. The floor was sticky which made her slide down, but her arms were suspended above her head, which made her feel like her hands would have easily been cut off her body if she kept on slipping.

Unfortunately, she kept plummeting in and out of consciousness, but it was instantly brought to an end with a deep unpleasant pain.

It was dark. Really.

She could her the loud sound of the thumping of feet's from above where she was and an annoying cheer that exploded once in a while.

It sure sounded something like an arena. She drifted her mind away from those thoughts. She remembered how she flew back in the woods, still barely able to process it. Ray... she could feel him talking to her, telling her everything was okay. But she knew it was only in her mind.

Where was he? She needed him more than anything. It was torture without him. She wondered if he could feel her, she was in need.

There came a loud rattling chain and the footsteps approaching the cell where she was.

The gates busted open and a human body was flung inside. She stared abashed when she realized the body was limped.

Dead.

The people that seemed like the guards suddenly unlocked her chains.

She was free, but didn't have any energy left in her body to move or run.

"It's time." Came an overly high-pitched voice. His words made her heart skip a beat. She stared bewildered, then manged to ask.

"Time for what, please?" she begged.

"The persecution."
