RAY
~ ~ ~
Ray tore through the night sky, flying faster than a falcon, past his usual speed limit.
The anger that burned within him was greater than anything he had ever comprehended, he could feel the heat burn his chest.
Ray knew he should not have left Alexy alone. Especially at her state but at this moment he felt enraged, disrespected.
He had the power and had always had the power of a master.
After twenty- four years of protecting that girl and watching her, the counsel had not even warned him.
What exactly did the counsel think this was, a child's play?
He finally stood, walking right for the counsel door. The airplanes that belonged to humans had crossed his path many times.
But have never for one noticed the sky here was always thick, forming the spiritual entrance of the kingdom and the meeting room.
He reached the two angels standing guard. He felt a sense of peace when he recognized his son, at least there was someone who belonged to him.
"Ray! Father!" Called out his son.
Ray hugged him tight.
Proud of the man his son had become. If there was something Alexy sickness was teaching him was that: 'You should appreciate what you have before it's gone.'
"Ray, the counsel are not expecting you, to what do we owe this visit?" his son asked.
On a regular day Ray never came in on called for, but today he had to make an exception for Alexy.
If she dies, he would be losing something very important, and someone.
"I have something important to speak to the counsel about." Ray tried his best to sound convincing, as Derek and the other guard exchanged a worried look
.Then the other guard stepped forward.
"I am very sorry, but you would have to turn around and come back another day_" The guard said.
This boy clearly did not get it, he was not asking for permission.
In one quick motion, Ray stepped forward and gave him a knockout punch, he was almost plummeting straight down the earth when Derek held him.
"Nice one, Dad." Derek smiled, then stepped aside.
Ray marched inside the meeting chamber. The counsellors looked shocked to see him and angry he had come in unannounced.
To hell with their rules.
Ray thought.
He passed the lines of the other who were lining up to get the attention of the counsel, as Ray made his way to the center.
"How dare you come here unannounced?" One of the grand counsellor said, with a disapproval tone.
"What do you want?" Ray's father asked among the grand counsel, with would declare the finally judgments.
