ALEXANDRA & RAY
   ~ ~ ~

Alexy opened her eyes awoken by the sound of the ocean crashing against the shore.

Despite the cool morning she discovered that she was all sucked up in sweat.

She sat up in the bed and was happy when she noticed Ray was still in the room, sitting on a chair in front of the window, looking through the curtains.

She recalled the night before, when she fell asleep with her head on his shoulders, now she wondered if he had taken advantage of her, but as she looked down.

she was thrilled to have her clothes on "what a funny thing to think" something said inside her.

She wondered if he had watched her sleep all night. Alexy was shaking furiously when she raised her arms but quickly put it down so Ray would not notice how sick she was.

Ray stood aware of the fact she was awake but he seemed like he had not wanted her to know he watched her sleep.

"I feel like I have been sleeping for years." She said. Her voice was barely above a whisper.

"Someone wants to meet you down stairs." Ray said.

He handed her a black long sleeve dress then went to wait outside the room.

Alexy stood from the bed she could see her whole body shaking like crazy.

At this point she wished he had not gone out of the room, she just manged to remove her shirt, and now she was just in bra and jeans standing alone in the room.

Her whole world felt woozy and when she was about to fall she felt a strong arm rap around her waist.

She had not realized when Ray had rushed into the room, when he sensed she was about to faint.

The both of them slide slowly to the ground. She clutched her shirt against her chest.

"You're alright... just let yourself go." He whispered to her.

She let herself go as she felt herself quenching into his muscular arms. She no longer had the strength to do it herself.

Alexy had never felt so exhausted before. He pulled the shirt from her hand exposing her black silk bra then he helped her in putting on the black dress. He had not taken advantage of her, and she was pleased he had not.

'I am not human; my ways are not yours. You humans dwell in the iniquities of man. But I dwell in the holiness of the Messiah.' It was like he was talking to her inside her heart, but she realised he was right. Though she felt like he was invading her privacy.

"Thank you... I won't have done it without you. I would have fallen out the window." She laughed.

"You're not well." Ray said.

"Yak... I know right?" she said weakly.
He didn't say a word, but he could feel it all too well. Something had happened, it was not a normal sickness.

"Are you all right?" from the expression on his face, he clearly couldn't understand what was happening to her.

Back in the days when she had a fever or something, he would have felt it but now he couldn't feel anything except her weakness.
