Chapter 7: Acid Fog

Sawyer hadn't gotten any sleep she was supposed to sleep during Finn's shift of watching Jasper but instead she stood in the drop ship and worked for 2 hours connecting circuits from different panel's all around the drop ship. She was connecting and disconnecting pieces for Monty to use on his radio

"His pulse is thready" Clarke said panicking Jasper had been in so much pain and his life was slowly slipping away

Sawyer was now sitting on the floor next to Jasper pushing his hair out of his face and using a wet rag to wipe the sweat off of his forehead

"Go back to sleep!"

"Quiet!"

"Don't listen to them. Your gonna make it through this, ok? Promise" Clarke comforted as she pushed his hair behind his ear

"Can he just die already!?" 

This was all it took for Sawyer to jump up, she had been holding so much anger and worry in her that she was ready to let it out on someone and that person happened to be the perfect victim, the fact that she hadn't slept made her temper worse as she became restless

"Thats it i'm going to kick someone's ass!" Sawyer threatened as she headed towards the ladder "Can you get some clean water while your out there?" Clarke asked. Sawyer nodded and reached down for the bucket

She climbed down the ladder to see Bellamy and a couple of guys talking in the drop ship. She rolled her eyes and hopped down

"Did he die yet?" a snobby teen asked walking up to her "He didn't die but your about to" Sawyer threatened before jumping on the idiot teen. She dropped him to the ground and straddled him as she punched his face over and over again

Sawyer didn't stop even when blood coated her hand and the boy cried out begging her to stop. She let out everything she had been holding in on the teen as tears streamed down her face. It was like letting out years of anger and sadness. She didn't understand why everything was flowing out but it was

It wasn't until Bellamy pulled her off that she stopped. "Hey, hey calm down" He said in her ear as he held the small broken girl in his chest. Tears kept streaming her vision getting blury as she stared at her bloody hands. Bellamy put her down and behind him

"Get him out of here" Bellamy instructed to the group of teens that stood there shocked. Sawyer was such a sweet girl, she was quiet majority of the time and never seemed mad. She kept every feeling in, never expressed herself

Once the guys were out of the drop ship Bellamy turned to the girl releasing her hands from his grip. "Pretty mean of a punch there" he said trying to break the tension

"Come" he pulled her over to a bucket of water and grabbed a cloth from the floor. He sat her down and scrubbed the blood from her hands, Sawyer didn't know how to react. She just sat there watching him clean her

He had always been such a jerk to everyone but his sister which is why Sawyer was so confused as to why he was helping her. His face was soft and his hands were gentle as he held her hands in his grip

"Thank you" she whispered "Oh she speaks" he teased as he smiled at her

"Wanna tell me what that was back there?" he asked

"Another time" truly Sawyer didn't know if they were going to have another moment like this. But something in her was hoping that they did. She didn't know who Bellamy Blake was but something pulled her to want to get to know him

"I'm holding you to that blue eyes" he said smiling at her. "We can't make promises down here pretty boy" she responded. They were staring at each other, it wasn't an awkward stare it was more of a trying to figure out one
