After sitting and talking for a little while longer, the boys watched a small amount of students begin to arrive at school. Only the earlier students, though, so not many. Still sitting outside, Ryan found himself discovering that skirts, bare legs, and cold weather did not mix. He usually spent time inside so he had never really noticed this before. He began shivering, obvious to his boyfriend who stood up, getting off of the bench.

"Let's go inside, yeah?"

Ryan nodded, watching Brendon extend a hand, which he took hold of. Ryan stood on shakaing legs, laughing awkwardly at himself. Brendon clumsily slung his backpack over his shoulder, swinging his and Ryan's hands between their sides. The two began to walk and Brendon, being the dorky teenager he was, glanced down at his boyfriend's feet, quickening and slowing his pace to match up their footsteps.

The taller choked back a giggle, shaking his head a bit at his boyfriend's actions. The shorter's face became a subtle red from embarrassment, but he still continued on with what he was doing. Once inside, Brendon led Ryan to his locker; he still needed to put away his backpack. Ryan stood beside him and turned when Brendon spoke up.

"Ya know, Ry, you should let me drive you to school instead of you taking the bus everyday.."

He kept his eye contact with the locker, not quite anticipating what his boyfriend would respond with.

"Babe, I get to school insanely early..I don't want you to have to change your sleep schedule just for me."

At that, Brendon slammed his locker shut, the sound resonating softly amongst the loud voices surrounding them in the hall.

"You wouldn't! See, I get up early...I just take forever you get ready. I did get here a little while after you, didn't I? Please, Ryan..."

Ryan weighed the options in his head. Letting Brendon drive him did mean spending even a little  while longer with him. He let out a short sigh.

"Okay, fine. Pick me up at 6:45 tomorrow and we'll see how this goes."

Brendon flashed a gleeful smile, trying to contain most of his excitement. However, just before he was about to burst, he was saved by Frank jumping at Ryan from behind. The action earned a strangled screech from Ryan, followed by laughter between the two.

"Frank, where's Gerard?"

"Oh, he's here, just a little embarrassed."

Brendon decided to chime in at that point.

"Embarrassed?"

"Yeah...you'll see why in a sec."

Frank groaned, trudging and shoving past a few larger students to lock arms with a startled Gerard. Against the taller's will, Frank dragged him to where Ryan and Brendon were still standing with confused looks on their faces. This confusion, however, was put to rest when Gerard came into view.

Ryan's jaw dropped as he gazed at his best friend. Brendon had almost the same expression, but he got over the initial stun much easier than his boyfriend did.

This was because Gerard had replaced his artificial cherry red head of hair with a much darker shade of raven.

While his boyfriend still stood in a shocked position, Brendon went in-between Gerard and Frank, looking back-and-forth between them.

"Aww, you two are matching now!"

Frank piped up with a smile now plastered on his face.

"Yep, he's my adorable emo comic book geek."

Gerard stuck his tongue out at Frank teasingly and the shorter mimicked the action, causing them both to laugh that the string of words that had just previously come from Frank's mouth.

Brendon walked back over and looped his arm over Ryan's shoulders.

"They really are a match made in heaven, aren't they?"

Ryan scoffed, holding back a chuckle.

"Try a match made in hell."
