[Wristbands: Chapter Seventy-Two]
His hands were shaking violently by his side. He wasn't cold, nor was he wanking himself, he was merely deathly nervous as he walked up the hill beside the love of his life. They had portkey'd somewhere warm, James hadn't known exactly where because all he saw around he and his girlfriend were luscious green hills. Lily was in a sun dress, she was warned about going to a warm location for their Christmas Eve date. James was in shorts and a t-shirt, not at all matching with Lily's beauty. She didn't care, but James couldn't help but worry, he wanted this day to be perfect.
"James, this place is bloody beautiful," She said, twirling in the grass as they went up towards a large tree, covered in pink flowers. It was like a fairytale, Lily couldn't believe that such a place existed. If only Marlene were there to capture it on her camera.
"Not as beautiful as you," he flirted, "c'mon, we need to get to the top, the suns going to start setting soon."
"I'll race you," She said, smirking. "whoever gets to the top first gets a kiss for however long they wish."
"So when I win, we can kiss for an hour straight?" James asked, also smirking and forgetting his nerves for a moment.
"If you win," she scoffed, rolling her eyes. Before saying anything else, she dropped the jacket she had on her arm and began running up the hill. She laughed as she ran, too, James smiled and dropped his jacket as well. Running up behind her.
He quickly caught up to her as her wedged-shoes made it difficult to run up the grassy hill. He then passed her swiftly yelling, "would you like me to slow down? So you can catch up?"
"These bloody shoes!" Lily yelled, stopping in her tracks and taking them off. She threw them down the hill where they continued to roll and roll. The couple watched as they fell, Lily in regret and James in amusement. "damn."
"No worries, Lils," He said, walking, sliding, down to her. "we're magic, when the night ends we can just float them up."
"That's true," She said, she smirked as she kissed him. He unexpectedly stumbled backward, tripping and falling down and she fell on top of him. As he was down, she quickly hopped back up and began running. James was in a daze for a mere second before he registered what was happening, but she was already mockingly walking up to the top which was only a few feet ahead for her.
"Low move, Evans!" James yelled, standing up and wiping grass off his arse as she laughed.
"You do understand that this circumstance is a win-win right, Potter?" She asked, standing up at the top. "Either way, we will be kissing."
